Get rid of the background sounds! So annoying!!! Combined with the echo it’s almost unbearable.
Awarded fair catch also includes the opportunity by the offended team to a free kick that can score a field goal.
You are 5 yards off on the expanded neutral zone.
Get rid of the music
Great Video
for the play at 15:20 mark, team A hold was at the 24YL but the run ended at the 22 or 23YL. Enforcement should be from end of run not spot of foul correct? (i realize the point of this example play was live + dead ball fouls during same down)
Interested in an update to this with the new 2023 rule change for offensive fouls behind the line of scrimmage. May require a new catchy nickname since “all but one except offensive fouls behind the LOS” doesn’t have a great ring to it.
Because of the Chargers Broncos game I had to check out this video. Deserves more likes.
thumbs up ! i may not be seing something but on the last play i thought we had a break in contact then a push in the back at the point of attack.. are other sing it as he was on his shoulder or something
Hi Kevin, Do you know if Get It Right is still available. Can’t seem to find the app.
So what about this case: During the scrimmage kick, R holds K at K's line of scrimmage, prior to R catching the kick. Since the foul occurred at the expanded neutral zone (not beyond it) then this is not a PSK situation. Would this be holding on R, 10 yards from the previous spot and replay the down for K?
Should have had no music
Really enjoyed the music, man!
Great thanks!!!!
Shouldn't you beanbag or throw your hat where he goes out of bounds?
Shut up
not necessary
Good info, great video, but like another commenter said, the music is unnecessary.
Great information but please - LOSE THE DISTRACTING MUSIC
I wanted to watch this video but I couldn't take the music.....
Thank you, Grid Iron Ref! I subscribed.
The best vet
Just curious is @6:25 an illegal pop up kick?
Are you still posting video's???
Great video and information, but please - Drop the annoying/distracting music.
Also when the “holder” has both knees off the ground as stated in the video it is not scrim kick formation by rule, and A must have 5 linemen numbered 50-79. If not, it is an illegal formation foul. 7-2-5-b. To get the numbering exception A must be in legal SK formation.
Thank you love the videos. Love when you break down the place very helpful.
why is there an annoying music bed behind this critical information?
we had ome that required us to get together and talk. we had 11 on Defense, we punched off. the kick happens, a return ensues and its over, but we count again and we have 12 players on R! We have illegal participation! 15 from the end of the kick. But we werent sure if you should of had illegal substitution, which would have been a dead ball. one would of given K a first as it was 4th and 3. The other is 15 yards end of kick. but Communication is imparative when dealing with kicks, ABSOLUTELY! Thanks for your time! 🙏🏽
There is no PSK enforcement if you have more than 11 players participating at the snap. Previous spot enforcement.
I'm just finding these videos, they are fantastic. Thank you for the great content
This guy has the best content videos, but the music KILLS them. Please, drop the music!
Nicely done presentation and much appreciated. I would suggest however that you limit the minutia at the intro as it tends to be repetitive and distracting. But overall as I said nicely doen.
Thank you for the video.
U have a big nose. 👃
What the hell happened to your face? Kill the music when you talk goof.
When the holder has both knees off the ground, does the snapper lose his protection?
Great question, the answer would be yes because A is not in scrimmage kick formation
Nice job. Keep them coming.
On the illegal participation play, the location of the flag is very important. Does the flag go where the receiver came back inbounds?
I have a Question I am a Coach From South Florida. How about Motion and Blind slide block on the End Defender of the Line of Scrimmage in the Free Block zone. would that be Consider illegal?
You may want to revisit the block at 15:48.
6:53 could this be blind side with possible targeting?
Awesome videos saw them all more than once maybe even 2-3 times or whenever I get bored...would love to see a video on Force
Dude, turn off the fucking music while you're talking....
Hi! Just found your videos today and wanted to echo Gregory's comments - the background music is definitely distracting. Additionally, I would like to add to the conversation. I agree with the philosophy that this isn't a safety foul, so we need to establish advantage/disadvantage. On a few of the example videos, by definition it's illegal contact, but there is no advantage gained by the defense as the quarterback has already selected and is in the process of throwing to another receiver by the time the contact is made by the defender. One of the mechanics for calling this foul is to see it and then peek back to the QB to see if he is in the process of the throw. If he is, pass and use it as a preventative officiating opportunity. If he isn't in the process of throwing, then we have a foul. Great examples though. I just attempted to explain this to a JV coach this past week. He had is DB chuck a receiver over the middle (similar to play #3) and was confounded as to why it would be illegal. I attempted to explain exactly what you covered here, but it's hard when you don't have video examples!
I like the content. Just started doing football this year and I am on a very good crew with some of the best games in the state and I am a little lost at times. I am a deep wing so some of these were a huge help.
Rule 6.1.9 gives four choices (options) for R when a free kick is kicked out of bounds: 1. Accept a 5-yard penalty from the previous spot and have K rekick 2. Accept a 5-yard penalty from the succeeding spot 3. Put the ball in play at the inbounds spot 25 yards beyond the previous spot or 4. Decline the penalty and put ball in play at inbounds spot If team R choice is option 3, I see officials placing the ball not at R's 35 but at R's 40 yard line after applying option 2 "5-yard penalty from the succeeding spot"? Is this a misapplication or the correct application of this rule? please explain. My opinion, this rule is one penalty with four sub options and being enforced incorrectly or maybe not. Thanks for your help
In your scenario, the only reason to place the ball on the 40 of R is if the ball went oob at the R 35 and R chose option 2.
Good material but the music is a little distracting.
Great help!
At 11:40 would that be illegal batting by the kicking team?
Really like your videos. It helps give a good understanding about free kicks. Two items you may want to make a correction to. At about 16:16 it should state Team K can only contact Team R and at 16:25 it should say bounds not bounce. I look forward to seeing other videos. Keep up the good work.
Good work Kevin, keep up the good work!! Could a video on the differences between illegal motion vs. illegal shifts be coming in future videos??
Thank you for the video examples to illustrate the All-but-1 Principal. Nicely done and much appreciated.
