    What do you use as fuel?

    • @TideCraftBoats
      @TideCraftBoats 8 дней назад

      We recommend diesel, it burns the cleanest and is easy to get. You can also do Kerosene and alternative heating fuel (they have some options at the hardware store).

    • @smudgepotdirect
      @smudgepotdirect Месяц назад

      Absolutely! you NEVER want water in your fuel source. The water gets super heated and is very dangerous as the water rapidly expands pushing the fuel out with it. Its very important to follow the manufactures warnings and cautions. We have numerous times in the instructions to NEVER have water in your fuel source. This is one HUGE reason we don't recommend used oil. There is to many opportunities for it to become contaminated with water.

      Yes you can. A lot of people fry a turkey on thanksgiving and then use the oil for the smudge in the evening. Its best to stick a strainer over the fill hole to catch any contaminates. Also be sure if you are using from a stored container there is no water or its very dangerous
