Pouring A Bird In Flight - Fluid Art
Using metallic colors for the bird, I poured and blew. The blowout was tricky but eventually the paint and I came to an understanding (hahaha!).

When the first layer didn't dry as nice as it was when it was wet, I added another layer over a transparent background (using pouring medium of Floetrol and water mix). The last touch was enhancing the white part because it didn't dry nicely. When my trusty-old-hairdryer gave out, its replacement failed the blow test! I had to bring out the airbrush to finish blowing out the paint, but that worked out just fine, thank goodness! I'm personally not a fan of Modern Art. I am however impressed it didn't just turn into a brown blob after using complimentary colors like this.

What brush did you use? Did you let the painting dry before doing brush strokes? Very beautiful.
Thanks! I only used a paintbrush at the end to paint twirls. Most of it was blown out with a hairdryer and an airbrush but I also used a combed silicone “brush” after. All of it was over wet paint except for silicone strokes and twirls.

It wasn’t waterbased, just what I got in spray paint cans. I now have water-based spray paint though!
