Hey! So it was actually a promotion that is really what triggered the transition, I have the title of a Senior Sales Relief Large Store now. Either way no matter what side you go to it is great if you are looking to move up. Both sides are awesome though including OP!

@ I’m paid on a biweekly basis. I bring home about 25-2800 after taxes. I work in PA but live in Ohio so cost of living is cheaper. Plus 19.90$ an hour on OT on top of the 188 a day & .20$ per case

Unfortunately I normally see only 21 year olds here. Some states will hire you as long as you apply and try it should have a good outcome. I have definitely seen 18 year old drivers.

😂 honestly, I just started setting a time limit at stores because man it’s a lot sometimes but it’s very smooth paced.

Depends if you’re on small store or large store. Small store rides in the semi. Large store uses their personal vehicle.

@@buckz2893 get experience with someone like Coca Cola first for those 2 years then jump for a local job with fuel companies like pilot or loves or circle k.

Marathon hires right out of school! 32$ an hour in my area. Hazmat and tanker needed. Or Keenan advantage only takes 6 months

I would never go to McClane due to the ramps and pain it puts on your back. I have managers here that worked in that industry who needed up getting surgery due to those type of jobs.

@@VHRQ i dont get your point at all all im saying is that if you are a rookie driver witch im guessing you are by your dumb comments ok its fine to start in the food and beverage because we all did i worked beer for 2 years then pepsi 2 years then cbi 2 years then sysco 6 years now i been in the freight 10 years and freight by far pays more and less abusive on the body at the end of the day its not just carring soda cans its breaking down 1000 plus cases merchandise building displays at stores etc why do all that mind you also waking up in the middle of the night to start your day with time it takes a toll on your body why do all that when you can get paid more work less and hit the gym later if you so worried about being active. And who said you just sit in your truck doing freight? And let me ask you do you drive trucks for living?
