From Mikeee Railroad. O Gauge MTH Union Pacific Engine 1st run out of box. Model SC70ACe.
Excellent information; thanks!
How many Lionel FasTrack Curve Tracks and Lionel FasTrack Straight Tracks does it needs to create a Figure 8 Track layout along using with the the Lionel Graduated Trestle Set?🚂
I prefer Realtrax for its sound, look and feel.
Thank you, i bought the M.T.H elevated steel arch bridge and couldn't find any information online.
Lionel and mth can connect together
real trains have clickety clack.lol
If you look later on, you will see a newer layout upgrade. Big trestle going up to 2nd level, and no slippage so far. If you get slips on minor hills, you might need to replace your rubber tires or just clean them if they dont slip on the wheels to begin with.
I have used only mth engines, they climb the stilt track without any slipping.

Thanks for posting this video! I have this set and have just started building my layout. However, my locomotives have a tough time making it up the grade when pulling cars (often derailing), and barely make it up not pulling any cars. The grade is straight. The engines are single motor engines (one from my starter set, and the other is a DC motor Alco rs3). I think I need a dual motor locomotive. I am not pulling very many cars, only 5-7 max. Do you recommend certain engines for going up the grade? Do your engines have a tough time making it up the grade? Thanks again for your help. Looking fwd to more videos.
Does this engine have any trouble going up your grade?
I know it's about two years later, but for the sake of future comparisons, perhaps having a loop comprised of both (linked by FT-tubular/tubular-RT adapters) would make the differences more apparent, at least for a video (most consumer camcorders have microphones that pick up sound from all directions and not mostly what is right in front of them)
James have watch all three video's big difference to this one will be very nice when you finish cheers Robert
Keep up the great work, I enjoy watching other train buffs build which I love more than running the trains which I also enjoy. I have all Lionel Legacy engines.
what test engine was that?
