Hi Model Railway people. I've just got back into the hobby after a 60 year hiatus and enjoying all the advancements that have arrived through the years. I'm hoping to convert the garage to make it a permanent railway room as a posed to being stripped down in the winter. Looks like you have a great start to the layout.
Thanks @TwoRailfans, it's all stripped down and boxed up ready for when I finish the garage. I'm in the middle of insulating and lining the garage and then I'll be documenting the building of the new layout. I've lots of ideas from watching loads of YT vids but I don't know if I'll have enough room for all of the ideas. All I know for definite is that I want it to be on two levels. Easier said than done !. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and commenting. I'm very new to this and just 4 vids so far. Hopefully more soon. Thanks again, Bob

Thanks Allen. I should be able to get the layout started later this year when I've finished the garage but it's only a fraction of the space you have over there. I'm quite jealous. We spent 6 months touring around your great country back in 2004. Did 18000 miles in a RV we bought in Florida and visited some 46 states including 2 trips into Canada, one on the East side and one on the West side. Then shipped the RV over here to Scotland. Sold it a few years later and I still miss it. You know how to build them over there!. Keep up the good work. Your layout is looking great All the best. Bob

@@BobbyNomad LOL! I don't know if it flies either...she's making me watch them every time it's her turn to pick for movie night...we're about halfway done...they made about a hundred of those movies!
