Based in Colchester, this channel features videos mainly in Suffolk and the Northern and central part of Suffolk. Occasionally I do longer road trips round other areas of Essex and expand into other counties where the time allows.
Colchester-Walton Circular-Part 2
This return trip is more direct. It travels through Kirby Le Soken, Beaumont Cum Moze, Tendring, Little Bentley(Where I sort of missed the turn off almost!)before heading back along the A120 and A12 back to Stanway.

Colchester-Walton Circular-Part 1

This trip to Walton takes the long route. Starting at the West Side of Colchester, it travels through the South side and over to the East before hitting the A133. It then travels through Alresford, Thorrington, Jaywick, Clacton Sea Front, Frinton Gates and finishing off in Walton.

This scenic route back to Colchester travels back through Sicklesmere, Cockfield Green, Lavenham, Great Waldingfield, Newton Green, Assington, Bures, Fordham, Eight Ash Green and finishes off in London Road at Stanway. As you can see, the weather was at times truly awful and chucked it down!

The first part of this road trip starts of at Peartree Road in Colchester and works its way out of town towards the A12, A14 and finishing at a Car Park in Bury St Edmunds.

This first part takes a few back roads in Earls Colne and follows the direct route to Walton via the A1124, A12, A120, Tendring, Beaumont-Cum-Moze, Kirby Le Soken and finishing in a car park on the outside of Walton.
Leicester-Stanway(Colchester)

This video starts at the Highcross Car Park in Leicester(Included as it was so confusing to get out off!) and travels from Leicester City Centre through to the M1. From there it travels onto the A14, to the M11 and then follows the A1307 to Haverhill. It then travels the final stretch back to Colchester via Halstead and the A1124.

This section is the return journey back through a more scenic route. Starting off at Leigh On Sea, this journey travels up the A13 through Hadleigh and then onto Thundersley, Rayleigh, Hockley, Hullbridge, Battlesbridge, East Hanningfield, Maldon, Tiptree and back to Stanway, finishing off at the Peartree Road Mini Roundabouts.

This is the first of a two part road trip to Leigh On Sea and back. This first section takes the direct route up the A12, down the A130 and onto the A127 before heading of to Leigh. The final part of this road trip travels from Braintree, through to Halstead and back to Colchester. Here, there is a brief visit to the outskirts of Colchester before heading up Maldon Road, through Shrub End and Peartree Road before finishing back where the trip started, at the edge of Tollgate.

This section starts of at Harlow and travels throught to Sawbidgeworth and then onto Bishop's Stortford. Here there was lots of getting lost and going round in circles to get the High Street in! From there it's onto Hatfield Heath and through the Rodings and onto Chelmsford.

I was a bit worried you were going to end up in Waitrose car park when you entered Parkway from the Kings Road roundabout in the nearside lane. Common mistake and I always leave room for people to change lanes when they realise. Pity about the weather, it's a very pretty route.
@@chrisrand5185 Hi Chris. Yes, I’m not that familiar with that part of Bury. It was a challenge to get in the correct lane. And yes, weather was awful on the way back.
