Evie's Shed
Our staff was excited to be able to see the shedding process with out education ambassador, Evie the Fox Snake. We thought we would share the video with you too! Hopefully you find it as oddly satisfying as we did. Evie did another perfect shed, and rewarded herself with a nice long drink at the end. Great work Evie!

Who Wants To Come With?

This video was made in July, but never made it out of our draft folder! All of our animal ambassadors go out on programs, but some mornings certain ambassadors are less enthusiastic than others. One ambassador, however, is always ready to rock! Help support our mission: www.helpingwildlife.org/get-involved/winc-wishlist/

Our education coordinator, Ellen, is on to a new adventure! Since she is the one who started this mystery series, she should be the one to end it... right?

This week we have another guest star: Kota the office pup! He is very quick and to the point- so much that we actually had an issue with uploading a thumbnail. There's probably a better solution than making the video 30 seconds longer than it needs to be, but oh well!

The Story of Two Orphan Flying Squirrels

We are so thrilled to announce that our large enclosure for Acorn and Aspen has been completed (well, we are planning on making the outside look nicer, but the flyers have moved in)! Originally we planned on just announcing it on our Facebook page, but then we thought it would be more fun to look back at their whole story... Help support Acorn, Aspen, and all the other orphans that arrive at ou...

This weeks detective isn't sure if he should get involved with such a perilous mystery. Will he make a decision? Or will this week's choice fall over flat?

After a donation came in with many cans missing labels, we wanted to bring a little mystery to our social media! Our goal is to do a weekly can opening to see what's inside. To start off the mystery we have Chase on the case! Come back next week for another unboxin- we mean- uncanning video!

😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love opossums.
Of course the snakes all want out. They're legless, scaly cats.
Music ruined it.
So cute 🥰
II want to see the opossum, not to read the World's history, man !
An opossum lived in our back yard and would sleep in our shed. He was about Four years old. He passed away. He seemed fine. He passed in his favorite place in the shed. 😢 we never treated him as a pet. He didn’t seem afraid of us.
I'm sorry he passed
This is cuteness at it's finest.
Nice
What an adorable little sleuth😊
W
They are so cute
I wonder what they painted there ears with
Can someone tell me why this is so mesmerizing? Super 👏✌️

What a beautiful white thing!🤗
Chào bạn. Buổi sáng chúc vui khỏe❤❤❤
If his name was Lemmy instead of Lenny, he'd be sitting there with a Jack&Coke and a smoke. (the cool kids will get it)
HELLRAISERRERERER
I love opposums
opossums have so bad eyesight
Yummy!
Mmmmmmmmm berries.
So very sweet. ❤💕🤗
He's absolutely adorable!

Very cute joeys
Precious Shebabas. I've been an Ambassador for Opossums since age 11. 34 years of spreading Opossum Joy.
Skunks are the most cutest and delicate creatures on the planet!🦨💨
Sooo sweet. Thank you for sharing!!!!!
I'm always happy to see possums being treated so well. These guys only have a couple year lifespan in the wild, and it's usually a brutal life. I try to help the ones in my area when I can.
After our cats died, which was depressing, we left some cat food out. After it was gone I was curious who it was and got a trail cam. Turned out to be an opossum. Now I leave water , and small treats from time to time, including mice that end up in traps. I make sure its not too much so its not too dependent and have crushed egg shells into the little bits of cat food. for calcium . In winter if we have long cold snaps , I plan on giving more generous support on a thaw. I know winter is hard on them.
I kept a little baby possum for a while. I remember he loved viana sausage and kitten food.
We raised three little possum babies when our dog chased the mom and she dropped three of them. They are so precious. Thank you for your selfless work!
Why are their ears colored?
It says in the description in order to accurately measure their weight💕
You humans have a hard time telling possums apart. I don't know why. Possums are all very different looking from each other. But I've heard humans have this issue with pandas as well. Anything that looks like it's wearing a mask is hard for you guys. lol In all seriousness, they put a bit of nail polish so they can tell who is who, and who gained what.
adorable
They are so cute, and they are really smart
They are cute....but calling them "smart" is really generous of you. They are food smart...that's about it.
@@Pgr-pt5ep No, that's not true. Some studies show possums are almost as intelligent as pigs.
Where do you buy them.?
There is a leucistic grey squirrel in my neighborhood, its majestic like Leu
Leu is a very strange looking cat… 10/10 would pet.
So pretty! Never seen one completely white before!
why is he like that?
@@burritodog3634 it's a rare genetic condition. It isnt albino however, which is even rare among them.
its called Leucism
I want all 3 of them!
Beautiful opposum ❤❤❤❤❤
That’s interesting. Lenny just likes the moisture out of the watermelon then he drops the rest of it. What a cute guy.
I love the way the opossum monched the raspberries!
must smell like food in it, i have never seen an opossum play for fun
