      You can however, the hepa filter would need more frequent cleaning. I would use a bag then empty the bag after it’s full.

    I always used a c-clamp and one of the old brake pads to press the pistons back in but ALWAYS make sure your vehicle has the calipers that don't require a special tool and or procedure.

  • @richardcornelius1050
    @richardcornelius1050 2 года назад

    So i noticed the procedure for setting the bearing nut was not mentioned . Also I am working on a GMC c5500 with a 13,500 pound rear axle and those rotors have only 6 of those T-70 Torx head bolts holding the rotor to the hub . The hardest thing so far about my project was finding the torque procedure for those wheel bearing nuts . “ initial torque of 77 ft lbs while rotating the hub , Back off nut 90 degrees then retorque to 18 ft lbs . There are 3 known different axles used on this series of truck and as of this video at least 2 different hub and rotor combinations …..

  • @richardcornelius1050

    They make a proper tool for that that’ll do both pistons at the same time . Them “Sandwich clamps” have no chance against hydraulic pressure .

    I figure that loosing the wheel nuts when on the ground is best, as the force is against the ground then driveline. If one has added brake fluid, do make sure you have enough volume to force the fluid back as it will over flow. I am going to have to remove some when I do mine.

    You could also just use the old brake pad and a trigger clamp to compress those pistons if you don’t have a compress tool
