Yay! I'm so happy this helped you!

hehe :3 orange boy said hi!
Are all buyable avatars for VR and PC or only PC ?
Both
I use PCVR and not mobile vr, sometimes booth models come with a quest option- Mame Hinata being a notable option. When purchasing for quest standalone, make sure you're using the "quest" tag. Here it is for you! booth.pm/en/items?tags%5B%5D=Quest%E5%AF%BE%E5%BF%9C keep in mind when adding outfits and toggles, it may increase the avatar size to be too large to work with quest however and some blender work to decimate polygons is required.
Great tutorial! Btw do you know how to add your own custom poses into gogo loco? If so I would love a tutorial video about it! I saw a reddit article about it but I couldn't understand it very well 😅
I really like this tutorial. I've never looked into Booth models since there aren't many that I like, but I found a few that I wanna customize😋 Once I get my PC and fbt, I'm gonna start learning how to do this🤩
oH LAWD i never thought to use a hue & saturation shift for textures - i've always scribbled around with low opacity like a madman. thank you for saving me literal hours of my life next time i do this :D
It makes me so happy that this helped you! I've been doing photoshop work for 15+ years and have picked up a ton of tips over the years. Let me know if you need help with anything else, so happy to help.
Thank you for this tutorial. I already knew how to change textures but your tips and concise explanations made it easy to follow for beginners! Please keep making more about Booth customizations. I am an avatar creator for VRC but don't really use Booth models, however I would love to learn how to edit them as a new skill! Take care and thanks once again <3
I did everything step by step however when tryomh to upload the avvi to vrchat it says it can't for some reason. (Without GoGoLoco it uploads just fine)
This is because you don’t have VRCfury installed. Follow the link in the description and add it to your VCC by hitting manage project and then hitting the green plus sign to add it to your project. Then, open the project and try again!
I have a booth avatar, but it came with some menu options to swap items preloaded, I was trying to strip it down to a base avatar to make it easier to start from scratch. I'm not sure how to remove the preloaded menu options. I also have some custom walking animations etc, but it just seems waaaaay to complicated lol.
Good video idea. I’ll have to make one on how to delete the parameters. Thank you!
I did the procedure with your tutorial and it worked, tip for those who are having problems, if you have a folder inside your avatar with a red warning saying goloco (missing prefab with guild d1), delete this folder and put the goloco that you installed in its place.
This is a great tip! Most booth models don’t come with gogo loco anywhere in the project, however, most western/gumroad/Jinxy models do come with it installed. Thanks for the advice to those who may be confused!
Your wallpaper is literally my mousepad
Your tutorial have helped me understand unity so much better. You explain how to do everything so well
HOLY!!! I've been doing it the long way all this time LOL!! Thank you so much for sharing this tut! Please make more with other useful tip and tricks and How To's!! <3 Quick note, the link for your discord has expired! Would you mind fixing it? I would love to join
Thank you for the tutorials!
I don't understand English but I think this character is ready for VRCHAT
I hope you continue to make more tutorials and share your knowledge with us. I remember giving up on making avatars many years ago and now that I have seen your videos, I am now enjoying myself in creating avatars..... Thank you!
Aw, this means so much! So happy you're picking back up the art of making avatars. After many years of trial and error this is what I've learned and how to best explain it. Happy making!
Hello, I tried downloading the following files from booth, but I’m unable to open them: • まじかるすてっき解説_日本語版.rar • MAGICALSTICK_For_Manuka_V1.1.zip When I attempt to open the downloaded files, I receive this error message: “Error in ‘Compressed (Zipped) Folders’ Windows cannot open the folder. The compressed (zipped) folder ‘C:\booth\MAGICALSTICK_Material_Pack_V1.7.zip’ is invalid.” Could you please help me resolve this issue? Is there a specific way to download and open these files correctly? Thank you for your assistance!
would is be easier to just add all of those packages and just use what you need after?
It really is up to you and what you require for your project! It takes a while to load, depending on which packages you need. To upload, all you need is the shader plus the avatar. Hope that makes sense ^^
its me again, hey can you add bhaptics, I have gloves and body suit. can i make an avatar with that ability
Hi there, I'm not sure how to do that, but this fellow tutorial maker Pxinky did a great one on how to ^^ ruclips.net/video/QCtdo5_cYdk/видео.html
Cool your awesome, im just learning and this helped alot.
Thanks for your tutorial! I'll always look forward to your videos because they are so easy to understand! As soon as I saw this in my thumbnail, I clicked on it right away! If possible, could you make a tutorial about shoe problems?
Hi hi, what kind of shoe problems are you having? I did do a video about rigging clothing, hair, shoes and accessories to your model. It's in the "Custom booth model" video. Try watching that to learn how to manually rig items to your avatar.
@@LucindaBeskins For high heels, they end up sinking
Are you maybe able to make a quick video on how to upload custom gestures? I have a free hand gesture set that I love to use, but I'd like to know how to add it myself!
Hi hi, thank you so much for the suggestion! It really depends on the gestures you're wanting to install. Booth models come with face expressions already, but if you want to add new ones it will likely overwrite the default face animations. There is an easy way to do it, or you can do it manually- but it depends on the expressions you'd like. Some are compatible with modular avatar, and some are not. Feel free to add me on discord (same name) and I'll see if I can help.
@LucindaBeskins oh! My apologies, I didn't elaborate enough. It's not overriding the facial expressions, only the hand movements! It's the "extended gestures" that are available for free on Booth
@@polarisphobia Just searched it- seems like a useful prefab! Keep in mind, it was last updated in 2021 so it may not work with the current SDK or unity. But, there are instructions on the page on how to set it up! That's how I do complex animations- just follow the instructions and you're good to go!
This is crazy! I was watching your channel as you uploaded this, but didnt see it until now. Your tutorials are so helpful! Im getting my first computer tomorrow and Im immediately gonna learn how to edit avatars. Thank you so much!
I really appreciate all the avatar tutorials you’ve uploaded!!! They’ve been a great help. <3
Aw, that means a lot! I'm so happy to have helped you, my goal is to help as many people as possible. Thanks for the kind comment and take care ♥
where does the "30 seconds" come in, there isn't even a timestamp for the tutorial part? say "two minutes" in the title if you will spend the first 30 seconds not tutorializing
As you can see, I timed the process of installing it from when I started it only took 30 seconds start to finish! ^^
Bro cant wait a minute and a half
Thank you for your tutorial, everything went fine aside of the fact VCC would keep failing unity package installation so i had to do it manually. :)
Hiii! I downloaded the liltoon shaders, but when I open the file, I don't have the liltoon unity package in it? Just some html files, read me and some unitypackage installer, that doesn't really do anything. Please help? 😭🙏
Yes, the unity package should be in the folder. I just re-downloaded it to check for you. All you have to do is drag the unity package (with the unity logo) into the assets section of your project! Simple click and drag ^^ the unity package is named jp.lilxyzw.liltoon-1.x.x-installer - Just drag that in!
I found a free outfit for an kipfel avatar but it’s not set at the right height when I reset it, and the size is too small, I checked and it is the one for her so idk what’s wrong? How to I make it bigger? Help please 😭
This happens with a few creators - Specifically, Mame Hinata and Kipfel have the same body, but scaled a bit. This is the same with Karin and Mint, and Lime and Chiffon. They have the exact same body but sized up or down. All you need to do is transform it to fit! Click on the outfit, hit "Y" on your keyboard and use the grey cube in the center of the circle to scale it down until it fits.
Don't hit "reset on the x y and z axis- Just drag the outfit directly into your avatar name on the left. Feel free to add me on Discord and I can screenshare with you if you still need help.
@@LucindaBeskins alrighty thank you I’ll try it first, I’ll I need more help tho lol so I’ll definitely add you?
Do you know anything about quest optimization methods for booth models specifically? I haven’t found any information at all about it. I’m tired of nobody being able to see my pretty booth avatars lol.
Sorry about my face on the other computer! When I logged into VRChat's website I entered the 2FA code and it toggled a silly happy/sassy face for a minute- and I didn't have two monitors to see the face. Ignore that! Hope this helps!
Your tutorials are very informative, make a video on how to add dances with sound to an avatar, please
Thank you so much for the suggestion ♥
Thank you so much for the tutorial!! Could you please do a tutorial on changing it to a .vrm file after changing their outfit?
I wish I could, but I do not know how to do that. I appreciate the ideas and suggestions! I used fiverr and paid a lovely artist around $25 to convert my vrchat model into this vrm/vseeface model I'm using in the video.
is it possible to add different shoes to a different outfit? it wont let me merge the shoes ;-;
Is this with modular avatar? Feel free to add my on discord at lucindabeskins and I can help!
glad i found this video! it's helping me a lot, thank you so much!
I love you! This is by far the best tutorial. I was desperate
hiya! i saw the other video aswell but i was wondering, if i wanted to keep the outfits that comes with the model (im using rindo) how to do it?
To do that, I take note of all items of clothing that can be taken off in the menu she came with default. Everything else, create a toggle for! That way you can toggle all clothing items off and toggle the new outfit on!
Holy crap you are the best person to explain how to work with avatars on unity, I really look forward to more tutorials from you ❤
This is the best avatar toggle explanation I’ve seen! Thank you! ❤
hi! how did you upload to vrchat? thank you your tutorial saved me aaa
I think she just released a new one on how to do that
Hi hi! Yes, there is a new video out on how to do that ^^
I have a rurune Shinigami face texture and my only issue is really trying to get the tattoo textures to actually look black and not somewhat transparent. Any ideas for that mayhaps? this video helped me out a bunch <3
It's hard to know without exactly seeing the project! Feel free to add me on discord and I can show you. Same name. It depends on a number of things- whether there's a normal map or not, what shaders you are using etc.
Very helpful video!
Yay, I'm so happy this helped you! ^^
how do you turn off the preexisting outfit tho if you have one
Hi hi!! Do you mean the default outfit that comes on the booth model? Or, a new one you added? Either way, I'd be happy to show you. I usually delete the default outfit, but there is a way I can show you. Discord is the same as my youtube name.
OMG this helped me so much idc if it was long
this is so cute!
