@@Aubinautofix I have a 2019 challenger and this isn't working with my Tazer. I have gone in and set RemWindw to Yes and still nothing happens when I press unlock 5 times with my keyfob when im outside of the car. Help?

@@Aubinautofix thank you and I just changed my transmission fluid now my car is smoking, I may either put to much or I think the bolts are loose, idk but it’s driving funny now, it’s driving a lot worse how many quarts does it take ? I was told 8

@youngbucks6504 Hi. I am not sure why it is smoking. Where the smoke is coming from? If you measure the oil you drained out of transmission and added same exact amount, it should not cause you any issue. Unless you added more than that. If you rewatch the video you should see where I said to make sure to measure the amount of oil you took and add back the same amount.

@youngbucks6504 if you added 8qts back, that is way to much oil. You need to redrain it and add the total amount you drained from the pulling transmission pan.

@@Aubinautofix yea I went to autozone they told me 8 quarts but I don’t think I bolted down the pan all the way it’s leaking a little so I can kind of see where the smoke coming from, still think I overfilled it , that’s just my guess but thank you

Hi. I have not installed this in a ram 1500 yet, but if you have the same 8.4 uconnect system, I'm sure it will work.

I don't know if is true or not. But all you can do is to give it a try. I would not bring it to the dealer to rewire it because they will charge you a lot of money. As long you have the alfaobd2 app and a Bluetooth obd, you should be able to unlock whatever feature you want to unlock. Just try it. The purpose of the video is to help you save money not to spend more. So try to stay away from the dealer as much as you can unless you don't feel comfortable doing it. Good luck!

You should be able to make it work with your car, but you will have to buy the Android version of The Alfaobd2 app plus a Bluetooth obd2 to be able to unlock the features in your uconnect system. You don't need to have it rewire as long as your car had heated seat before. But if your car did not have heated seats, you may have to rewire the car by adding manual buttons to turn it on and off

@Tyytyythatguy hey do this. Go to your car and look underneath of both seats driver and passenger to see if you have 2 plugs under the seats. I believe it is a yellow and gray plugs.if so, it will work. And you need to have 8.4 uconnect system for it to work. If not, you will have to wire it manually.

Hi. Look at the main board. There are 8 pins on the back. Bring all of the pins down and leave number 8 up. It should work. Also check the fuse for your reverse camera. Let me know if this work

@@Aubinautofix Yes, I've left all the pins down and only 8 up but it doesn't work, on the main screen uconnect works normally, my car is a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I'm from Brazil.

In your video, when you put them all down and turn on the reverse camera, you get a black and blue image, right? look at the time of your video 5:54, in my car this black and blue image also doesn't appear when all the pins are down.

@Henriqueverri thank you for your comments. I am not sure why it is not working for you. Mine did not work at first until I did the steps I just mentioned. One question though, did you connect you camera with the wire that came with the kit? If so, you will have to put number 8 down as well. Try to unplug everything and plug them back to see if that work. You may also need to get a automotive tazer to unlock the camera feature on you system. I had a 2016 dodge charger sxt, it did not come with the camera, so I have to purchase the automotive tazer to unlock the camera for mine to work. Other than that I don't why yours is not working.

Yes you can if your steering wheel is already heated. If it is not you have to buy a used or new heated steering wheel for it to work. Hope I answered your questions. Good luck

You would have to get you some brake parts grease. Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant. You do need a good amount amount on the sliding pins. Hope this helps

Yes it should be. To confirm, left your rear seat up and look right under the back seat with the head rest on the right side. You should see the plug. But, that if your scat came with heated seats. If so, that plug is pre-installed. Let me know if this helps.

@@Aubinautofix These cars have the Nag1 transmission. Made by Mercedez. Its the best trans Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep put with the HEMIs

Well, I guess I'm unlucky. Lol. I had 2 chargers, 1 sxt and an R/T, and one chrysler 200 all 3 had the same transmission problem. But they were bought used. So it could be how they were driven.

Did you install your reverse camera with the kit? It should not do that if your camera came with you vehicle OEM

One thing you need to check is the box that you have all of the cable plugged in. There are about 8 small pins on the back you need switch off all of them except the last one. I think that should fix it

Just disconnect the battery before you do any of that. No need to remove any fuse.

Hi there. I have not done it in Cadillac car before, but I'm pretty sure it is the same process to get it done. But your column in the Cadillac already wired for heated steering wheel, you won't have to change the column. You will just need a steering wheel that has the heated option. Also figure out how to enable it through the head unit. If you want to do it, make you look at the plug that comes from the head unit to the steering to see if they are interchangeable. Good luck!

The steering wheel must one that is heated. If you don't have the plug in the steering wheel to plug in the clockspring, it won't work. In any heated steering wheel there should a 2 pins plug that will plug in the clockspring

@fastlanecharger23 let's keep talking on the post for the heated wheel. Otherwise we're talking in 2 different places. Yes I have the heated wheel. I have everything correct. But won't turn on.

Now, you have to unlock the feature through the blurtooth OBD2 plugs in your car, then connect the Bluetooth obd2 with the alfaobd to turn on the steering wheel features

The steering wheel needs to be a heated steering wheel and fully wired be just plugged in. I never done it any other way. I just changed the whole steering wheel from basic to a heated one. Good luck!

@fastlanecharger23 I meant in the program with alphaobd. I had a charger with a heated wheel and I copied the settings from that. The options for material type is leather and wood or full leather. I used full leather because that's what my other car had. I'm guessing it has something to do with how it heats because different material heats differently

@fastlanecharger23 hey did you have to put a fuse in the back fuse box in slot 44 or something? I installed clock spring, heated wheel, and activated it with alphaobd. When I push the button for heated wheel it doesn't go red. I looked in the slot for heated wheel and backseat (it's the same fuse) and I put a 20amp fuse in. But still not working. After a closer look it looks like my fuse box doesn't have a wire in that slot. I have to wait until I have my volt meter to confirm.

@toddcoello6461 hey there. No I did not have to do anything with the fuse box. On the alfaobd app. You have to unlock the feature twice. You have to keep scrolling down until you see heated steering wheel and choose leather as the type of material for your steering wheel. Did you change the steering wheel to a heated steering wheel that has the 2 pins plug for the heat?

Hi. Yes you can change just the clockspring, by removing some of screws from the back. But make sure you replace the clockspring with one that is not been damaged or it needs be a new one so that it will be center. Otherwise the wire connection will be tangled and damaged.

No smoke no oil nothing no slapping noises cranks over just fine but doesn’t start before I could hear the gas flowing through now it doesn’t even after replacing the fuel systems

That, I'm not sure how fix it. Did you try to change the spark plugs and coils? You may have a misfire.

Maybe it’s a dirty TIPm?

Salut. Pas de probleme. Moi aussi, Je suis Haitian American.L' Englais n'est pas ma langue maternelle. alors ne t'inquiete pas, je comprends. you don't have to change the entire module. So for the heated steering to work you have to change the clockspring to a clockspring that support heating steering wheel. I did not have to add a fuse for the installation, i think which ever fuse that is for the steering wheel should also work for the heated steering wheel. You probably need to buy a heated steering wheel .yours won't work. The factory steering wheel for the challenger is not heated. so you have to change it. Finally you have to get a Bluetooth OBD2 also the AlFAOBD app and install it to an android device. then you have to go in your car, plug it in then on your phone with the ALFAOBD ap search for the bluetooth obd2. From there you have to unlock the feature in your car so that the heated steering wheel works. you have to watch videos on how to use the ALFAOBD app.

@@Aubinautofix ok super yes I'm going to change the steering wheel for the one from the srt with the "flat" if I try to find it heated otherwise I was thinking of buying a heating pad on aliexpress which I would have connected to the original wiring so that it works on the car radio then I would have covered the steering wheel with leather or alacantara, this will be something to think about because shipping costs and taxes are very expensive from the United States. No, it was jerking when going on second gear. This helped for a while, but it was mainly transmission issue.

@oscarcortez6558 hey there. My issue was when it switched to 2nd gear the car jerked like it skipping the gear. If your car revs weird, it might be the type of fuel injector you. Sometimes If it injects too much fuel, it may do that. If you installed cheap fuel injectors make sure you use the factory ones. Also try to clean the throttle body. Try this If it helps

@oscarcortez6558 you can also recalibrate your throttle body by putting the key on ON position, but not starting the car. Then press the gas pedal slowly and hold for 20 seconds, then left up your foot. Turn the switch off, then start the car. It may help. Do this first changing anything. If any of what mentioned doesn't work, I'm not sure what may be the cause. Hope it helps. Good luck

There seems to be a leak on my fuel injector I’ll be changing soon but also when i start my car it has its normal rev then like drops real fast and sounds off then back to loud

Yes, the charger sxt models are prewired for the rear heated seats. When you left the back seats up and take it out, look in the middle right where you take the bolts off to remove the back of seats and there is a plug right there prewired going toward the trunk. That is where the wires for the heated seats goes. Hope this makes sense and helps
