Lunch time at The Oriental Express. Mano de Guerra Filipino Eskrima Interview
Robert Puig is my greatest Fan. He thinks he knows wing chun. He’s always following me.
I agree you will get cut. The movies aren't real life. Arnis is a good system to defend from a knife when you have a stick or weapon similar. I've had a knife pulled on me 5 times and survived by using an equalizer or talked my way out of the danger. When I faced the knife, I was scared staring at a sharp blade that could slice me. Luckily my training kicked in. In the last year I have trained in AMOK which is the best knife defense I have ever encountered in my 54 years of Martial Arts training.
Very good technique
Very cool karate chung uniforms . The black belt looks cool with all the white tape what does it symbolize in wing chung ?
It symbolizes nothing in wing chun.
I remember moving to Georgetown 6 years ago from Tucson, AZ. I use to watch this video all the time. At the time I was defining between Krav maga and Jeet kune do. I never got the opportunity to train with Sifu Richard. But this particular video did give me inspiration. Plus, I grew up in the 80s. Unfortunately, I ended hating George Town, and the rest of Texas. I ended up moving back to my desert in Arizona. But at least I got to find out of who this Sifu is
Daniel, Thank you. Happy New Year ! My current top asset advanced medical technology works on a molecular level. Not a food or drug or nutrient. Here it is drliamstone.myasealive.com Aloha from Texas, Dr. Liam Sullivan Stone, D.D., Ph.D., N.D.
Muchos gracias Sifu/Gm Richard Guerra...keep it up! Oss!
After, I beat them I'll comb their hair. Bhah.... 🤣🤣🤣.

RM puig. You are a hater. Go away Moron
You welcome to come test me out. Puig. Any time. Full contact.
You can’t fight nor spar Puig. Let it go dude. Go practice your chun. Or come test my stuff out . Don’t you get tired on harassing me. You must be very lonely . Your skill is so weak my beginners in Soryu Karate would Have pity on you dude.

Clifford in black against little Yip. mark McCullough.. in this video Ralph Henley.. Abe Kinney Adam Harris. Johnny Lopez. 1993 March Austin TX USA
most of my students were begginers when this video was shot. I was trying to Make wing Chun work in a sparring style. so that I could get my students to compete against karate and Tae kwon do in tournaments.
this is 1993. I am currently in Austin TX USA. my cell phone number is 512 429 9134. I teach Wing Chun and Mano De Guerra ESKRIMA.. RMG
i was teaching Soryu karate and wing Chun kung fu. I decided to wear a KARATE GI at the time. although I was teaching Wing Chun kung fu as well.
Good to see that there are still some martial artists that know what they're talking about.
what happens to the one who take the kick in the head?
he got up and continue fighting later in class
Ichimaru Gin 95 he was ok
yvciivi what ever your problem is this was in 1981. I did not have advanced students . we shot footage left unedited . Now 36 years later u still teach wing chun .dont worry . when ever u are in Austin Texas call me. try me out . 512 429 9134. I challenge you to fill contact . I am 36 years older . no big deal . you are those types that are all talk but no show. I am in Austin TX. . any time u are ready .let's go .that way keep your mouth shut .
Chuckles.... well stated Sifu Guerra
This is raw footage and shows both the Soryu and Wing Chun of Sifu Guerra. For Austinites, this video shows a classic view of Austin before the population explosion. Great footage!
This video needs editing, music and a narrator!! Even if it is basic movements, it explains quite good the applications. I give it a 6 because the beginning deters a lot of people and other parts of the clip. It was not bad after all..
This was unedited and we were experimenting . this was new to us .but we had fun. To the person who posted this is shit wing chun . this is my cell number 512 436 1038. 36 years ago i did this video . I Am Grandmaster Richard Guerra. Still teaching in austin texas. Not one martial artist in austin texas has ever come to my face to challenge me. They do it behind key boards. Because they are cowards.
this was shot in 1981/ we tried our best .I did not have advanced students .we never got to edit the video or add narration to it.i hope that those who see this will see it thru the entire video. I went on to produce more videos and articles in black belt magazine came out on the cover of July 1982 with my Sifu Leung Ting . the last student of the late grand master Yip Man. I was the first and only pioneer of Wing Tsun Chun in Texas . and later introduce it to Mexico in Monterrey MX with my top student Rodolfo Rodriguez . A now 8 th grade of Wing chun and the 9 th degree Black belt in Torayama Soryu Karate under me. . we had lots of fun doing this . we were not film producers . but Dusty sexton at that time was my student and had a producers license with the Austin Texas cable t.v program for the community to produce videos . thank you for your input .
@@richardguerra7477 wow ! you have a 9th dan student in soryu karate ? thats awesome . Where did you obtain your 10th dan in soryu karate ? im searching for videos of soryu curriculm
@@aetius2277 I have 58 years of Soryu karate experience. Yes I am a 10 th Dan of my own Soryu Organization. Koyasu Michio the Soke of Soryu Karate promoted me in Jan 31 2006 to the Highest Dan grade of 7 th Dan from the All Japan soryu Karate do Federation . Four years later I was promoted to the 8 th Dan by my Sensei Joe Alvarado. Years later I formed the Soryu Kai Karate and am the Soke 10th Dan in soryu kai karate Do
i think maybe you do have kung fu. Yet, the films show case it so poorly it makes you look bad. i suggest you film with folks who know what they are doing and that way you don't have to be so careful and you can share your true skills more effectively. afterall this is online and when u do it a certain way and show it like that what do you expect folks to believe ? I also realize it can be difficult to ramp down a method that hurts to show it in a demo and still have it look legit. I'm 54 now, but i never entered a tournament for that reason. if i see an opening i'm there, i don't have time to think oh wait a minute this isn't a real fight lol.
this was unedited. and we had lots of fun doing this video.. this was in the Infancy of Wing Tsun in America. I was pioneering wing Tsun kung fu in Texas and Mexico. 1981. this video in Austin TX USA. .Austin was still a small city. and there was no wing Tsun kung fu in Texas. I was the first Sifu to teach it In Texas. later I introduced it to Monterey Mex in 1988
