When I started the game it took over a year to ftp reach level 85

I definitely love the new changes, getting to 85 so quick is awesome, but it does feel a little TOO quick like you said. I think if it took maybe an extra couple of weeks, like not quite two months but close to two months, that would've been perfect.

I started an alt account the week the changes went into place and it took me about 4 weeks to hit 85 with active play. I had a little bit of a delay during in week as I was on vacation in an entirely different time zone, so my usual energy refreshes were happening while I was sleeping. That's still a lot more exciting for a new player than three to four months of grind. A few thoughts on the new experience: - The pacing may seem "too fast" for veteran players, but I feel that may be due to previously established "benchmarks" having been associated to level progression rather than time spent playing the game. It's still early in its inception, but with the right focus you should still be able to hit those level-based benchmarks in the same amount of time, if not sooner. For example, getting to level 78 for the Zeta mats fleet challenge used to take two to three months (that's mostly an estimate and varies by effort). I managed to get to it in six weeks, and that was even after having made a few early mistakes with my fleet focus (more on that later). - I felt the best way to go about character development was to lean into Phoenix and Dark Side pilots. You just don't have time to farm Troopers to make them the first Dark Side focus squad, and starting with Dark Side pilots (Tarkin, Vader, TIE Pilot, Boba, KRU) will set you up for the Zeta mats fleet challenge. While they may not have a whole lot of synergy for ground battles, it's not a bad team overall for early needs. - That's not to say that Troopers should be ignored if you still want to go that route. The Dark Side pilots you're handed through quests and achievements are really easy to farm in currency shops while core Troopers can be farmed with energy. - The accelerated pacing will throw you into TB/TW sooner than you realize, so be sure to have your two eligible squads to drop on defense for TW as soon as you can manage. (This should be pretty easy if you have been focusing on Phoenix and Dark Side pilots.) - An added bonus to the rate you get Phoenix shards is that you can get Palpatine and Thrawn earlier than you will have your core Troopers to the same star levels, which will help round out your Empire team while you build Trooper stars. - Focus on Dark Side ships you're provided with the new quests for fleet arena so that you're ready for the Zeta mats challenge as soon as possible. The only "extra" farm needed is KRU/TIE Silencer. There really isn't enough time to farm the Geo ships. I started with trying to focus on Galactic Republic first, with the aim to use it as a long-term arena fleet, which set me back a little. I switched focus to the Dark Side ships once I realized the level pacing, so I could have been ready for the Zeta mat challenge a bit earlier than I was. - Don't worry about GAC performance early on, but don't fully ignore participation. At least get your First Attack points and you're likely to get some wins vs opponents who have either stopped playing or just didn't attack. - After the initial Phoenix/Dark Side pilot focus, there's still plenty of flexibility to build your own account journey. At this point, some may be easier to manage as a result of characters being put into stores. - My only major gripe that happened with the new player experience updates is Greef Karga getting added to the Galactic War store, but IG-11 still being on the hard farm node with him. The Rebel Y-Wing that is with GK on the fleet node can at least be found in the Galactic War store now as well. You're still going to have to farm The GK/IG-11 node if you want to go for BAM/Razor Crest and Executor.

The best feeling in this game is beating someone that has a ton more GP then you, I beat someone with 5m GP and JMLS today just because he needed 2 battles on my Relic 7 GAS team and I full cleared everything with a one shot

Would you need to heavily remod any of the others if you’re using Zorii? I’ve got pretty good mods on Rey and I’d like to find out if I actually need to put really good mods on the others for this

You mentioned not being able to check in morning for cantina bonus energy. You are probably better changing your reset time so that bonus energy falls at a good time for you. If it doesn't mess with your fleet much
