A (not so art filled) day in the life of an artist
I like that hair tip.
Thank you so much, that tip on how to hold your pencil differently depending on what stage of the drawing your on, solved a major problem I was having with line confidence and pressure.
I gotchu!!!
Some decent artists here. Greatest? Extremely debatable. I guess it's subjective plus what people have been exposed to. Plenty of living masters out there at the moment.
These are some of the best I know! If you have others please let me know, I’ll make another vid!
I've recently been interested in Dragan Bibin and Agostino Arrivabene
Those two are great, might be in the next episode!
I gotta say, this is one of the first one of these lists don’t hate. Real art, real ideas. Most of it’s not my bag but the quality is unmistakable even if some of it is too tight for me. I’ll get over it. It’s great. The content is great Keep up the good work
Hahaha thanks!!!
Well if that stuff works for you great. But everybody is different. Not that it isn't helpful but what works you mighy not work for others . I believe in you do you and I'll do me. I don't care for hyper realizam it looks to much like a photo and not like a drawing. If you don't make a line you can't draw a circle. If you don't make a line you can't write. But that's just me.
I explain lines in another video
Your an amazing artist ❤thank you for all the tips
Thank you!

Thank you! Stay tuned for more!
Amazing!
Thank you!!
منور مروان التلودي 😂😂😂
I've been creative all my life; that said, as I get older, 'impostor syndrome' pops into my head more often. Especially the phrase "nothing new under the sun". When I'm warming up for a project, I really wonder if someone's already done _almost_ the same thing that I'm sketching out.
I’m thinking abt doing a video on imposter syndrome. Stay tuned!
Nice!
Thx!
Nigga, u got that tool from the GPen u pothead lol. Good stuff bro.
Sorry to disappoint, I don’t smoke pot 😂
Love the grain and color grade
Thank you, i tried something new, glad it worked out!

Its not how much you work on your art, its how much you get for it- andy warhols handler
Very true, but Andy Warhol had a name and leverage lol
"avoid lines" Looks down at his pen, shrugs his shoulders and keeps crosshatching with all the lines. Shade with lines. It's awesome......
I’m not opposed to using lines to shade. I made a whole video on crosshatching and why it’s awesome. But for someone who is just starting out, understanding classical shading first will greater your understanding of values and gradients, then u can use techniques like cross hatching and stipple shading to greater effect.
Just so people know voiding lines is only for a specific style. Lines and dots are often used for shading. I've seen artists use a technique were you shade without lines but then outline the shaded area or the highlights and it looks really good. Using lines to draw hair is perfectly fine too. Art tutorials are great but make sure watch different people. Many artists think their way is the best way and it can actually hamper your personal growth.
Yes ofc but for someone starting out learning basic shading first can make learn cross hatching or stipple shading easier in the long run because it helps you understand value changes better. I’ve done a video on crosshatching too
@Bijansabeti You probably should have clarified that. You make it sound like it's the one way to do things.
You gave me an idea, I’ll make a video diving deeper on this topic, stay tuned!
I am coming to the end of a year-long online drawing course and we have pretty much covered all your tips! I cannot believe how much my art has improved through learning these skills, but probably most of all, recognising the importance of values.
Love to hear it!! Don’t stop!!
I love drawing in biro. Get the bic 4 in 1 pens really fun to use.
Will do!!

[4:18] Sculpting videos plz
Aye aye captain!
[3:14] THIS ONE! I find that in music production I'm too scared of scrapping an instrument or idea because I'm not sure what I make next will be better. So, my file becomes too busy and at some point, I come through like the Grim Reaper and start axing stuff lol
If u made it once, u can make it again
Love this video! Cool to see how inspiration strikes differently between each person.
Yessir!!!
Thanks for showing ❤
Any time!
9:10 THAT That's why I decided to pick up the art at 24
