this guy's answers are brilliant. this should be a tutorial on how to take a deposition. agreeable not argumentative. short answers. not offering added information. not letting the interviewer lead him down rabbit holes. and when unsure "I dont recall". this is the safest legal answer.

Got sucked in, and then like lots of other commenters, I had to know who this dude was. The context is, he's worth $500M on paper and was part of (a no doubt well financed) consolidation of the RV slaes/camping gear etc consolidation. The lawsuit is ongoing and the owner a FL based dealership has brought a class action alleging him and his company were lying cheating stealing to weaken and then destroy or takeover lots of small, independent competitors. I cam across this familiar playbook in the marina industry a few years back as part of a local grassroots effort to keep a similar entity in the marina space from takin gover state park land to build a marina for superyachts. They had consolidated many marina's nationwide and were backed by $300M in private equity capital. If not familiar, this is a formula in taking over and grabbing market share for decentralized industries. Dude has ice in his veins. Apparently there are many tentacles to the legal proceedings and it's been ongoing for 10 years up through the present. He was entertaining, but against all odds, I'd love to see goliath get bitch smacked by David here. Judging by the length of time and their inability to squash it, I predict some sort of seemingly steep fines for this multibillion dollar public company, zero piercing of the corporate veil or any personal accountability, and the fines amounting to a few drops in the bucket in the long game of taking over a substantial portion of a luxury market and taking it public.
