hi! yes actually you can pack more liquids into your check in luggage than your carry on (usually a 100ml liquid max). some airlines allow up to 10kg carry on, so it really depends on your carrier and ticket details :)

yes, it was slightly above 7kg but sometimes the seat allows up to 10kg! :) def check with the airline and or buy extra weight allowance if needed. I still recommend only using carry on instead of check in due to convenience, speed, ease and also to minimise risk of lost or late luggage, which happens a lot in Europe in summer due to increased travel volumes. safe travels!

olá Peterson! You absolutely should!!! excited for you. Just show up on the dates you bought tickets for, and they will give you a wristband at the gates. You can use the same wristband for the whole weekend, but don't worry if you lose it or take it off, they will also give you a new one every time you enter as long as you show them the digital ticket. (there will be detailed instructions by them closer to date so you are well covered) HAVE FUN! :D

Hey Atmos! that's so true, being overweight is definitely a risk, so I usually try to look small and avoid eye contact at airports to not get pulled for a weight check haha. I pull the waterproof cover over the entire bag and I think that helps it look less clunky. So far no trouble yet on budget airlines, although sometimes it is a squeeze in the overhead compartment, which is also why I try to enter the plane early to snag space first. Luckily, it's mostly soft clothes or things in there, so with a push and nudge, it always fits! Happy traveling! :)

@okaykahmy LOL! 😆 avoid eye contact with Airlines' ground crew to avoid being whisked to the weighing scale to check if your one bag travel is overweight or not. Those airline crews are experienced enough to keep a watchful eye at passengers who are avoiding eye contacts at all cost. Generally, from 65L downsized to 33L using my Osprey Talon just below 7kg, this is where I don't avoid eye contact. My eyes are wide open, glimming with bravery looking at the airlines' check-in counter staff. I love to see their faces when they weight my bag and dumb-founded especially when I'm on international flights for a long vacation with just a lightweight personal item bag 😅

@okaykahmy hi Kahmy. YES it is possible to downsize it to 33L and just under 7kg with minimal essentials. Just do your own laundry daily. Buy a small packet of laundry detergent and a bar of soap when you reached your destination to help support the local economy. You could also get some other items locally along the way and have fun in your travels. I've got perfect examples of this in my Annapurna videos on my channel. The only video that I've got to show what's inside my 33L is that trip to Koh Lipe in Thailand. Hope it helps 🥰. I can't wait to see your 7kg one bag travel video 🙂

hi Tanya! oh that's such a good question I forgot to put it in the video haha, its from TUMI! but any crossbody of your preferred style/brand would work. things I would recommend is for the sling to have: 1. adjustable straps (length) 2. more than just one compartment 3. zips!! hi Annie! you're so welcome and that's a great question, here's how I fit them all: 1. tote bag folds into the Gregory sling 2. Gregory sling fits into the front pocket of my main backpack 3. extra duffel folds and slides into the elastic back pocket of my main backpack 4. small black crossbody for essentials stays on my body, but can also fit into my larger backpack's top compartment 5. blue computer bag stands on its own and is always full haha so that does not fold into anything Yep so usually on planes, I'll have 3 bags after packing the rest into each other: 1. small black crossbody that stays on my body 2. blue computer bag slides under the seat in front of me 3. main backpack goes up into the overhead compartment Hope this helps and happy traveling! :)
