Indian Head Cent Error Found!
Not quite an error but certainly a strange coin classified as a pattern. R.7, with only a handful graded by PCGS and NGC. The Indian head cent patterns are probably the only type of patterns you can cherry pick.

Old PCGS & NGC Sample Slabs
Просмотров 193Месяц назад
Hello, Today I have quite a few sample slabs of some old holder types from both PCGS & NGC. The PCGS ones tend to be a lot more popular but I much prefer the NGC ones. Thanks for watching! Find me on Instagram Www. bignubnumismatics #coincollecting #rarecoins #coin
DMPL and PL Morgan Dollars

A lot of neat dollars I’ve gotten recently. All types of holders, finishes, looks etc. which one was your favorite? Is a specific time to upload videos better for the viewer, or does it not matter? I usually upload quite late. Thanks for watching! Find me on Instagram Www. bignubnumismatics #rarecoins #coin #coincollecting
Early Lincoln Cent Varieties To Cherry-pick
Просмотров 69Месяц назад
Hello once again, Shorter video on some recent purchases from a variety of places. The DDO is pretty hard to tell from the naked eye and probably the easiest to cherry-pick. The S/S is a lot more prominent and is well known. I will be consistently uploading on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for at least the next two months. If you’d like a video on a certain topic, please let me know. Find ...

Does ANACS Undergrade Coins?
Просмотров 9403 месяца назад
Latest NGC submission back with some nice results. I forgot two coins but didn’t feel like re-recording the video. They were a 1945 Mercury in 66, and a 1922 Grant Half that came back 66. I think ANACS doesn’t get the market appreciation that it deserves, and there are some bargains to be had. On a great deal of coins I think they are a bit more conservative than one would expect from their pri...
Are Antique Shops Good Places to Find Coins?
Просмотров 2,9 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Antique shops are hit or miss. They are usually way overpriced with corroded pocket change or some serious coins at reasonable prices. I had some luck down in the Amish, as well as the Polish Coin Show. Do you typically look for coins in antique shops? #coins #coincollecting #rarecoins
Is ICG the Worst Grading Company?
Просмотров 2,7 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Finally received my PCGS Regular submission from 12/15. Not entirely coins I would have sent out normally, but to my knowledge vouchers expire after a year. ICG has terrible grading, so there is a wide range of quality coins in their holders. Proofs especially. I like early PCI better. Photos continue to be a problem since Phil left, but these were quite good compared to what else has been comi...

Best Places to Buy Coins in2024
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.5 месяцев назад
What do you think about the coin market? I am quite excited to finally buy some coins for my personal collection, but it’s also strange seeing really nice coins sell for a fraction of what they brought a couple years prior. And because of this, I think a lot of nicer coins will disappear from the market. I think the coin market is falling a bit faster than what seems natural. I think a large po...

The New CAC Grading Slabs Look AMAZING!
Just a few penny’s
I Think ANACS has a great reputation for being honest.
Very cool
pcgs will b worth more in most cases
Any updates?
Thank you for sharing. Never knew about cherry picking Indian cents with copper nickel planchette after 1864. Cool beans
You know i swear I've seen indian cents from the years after they moved to the bronze planchet that looked like they were copper nickel, but I really just didn't think anything of it. Good thing to look out for in the future
Love your content. Keep up the good work. All the best from Let’s talk coins
Always wanted to get a few of these, very cool
Anacs doesn't normally under grade the others overgrade
Whatever happened to buy the coin not the holder
Wow
John has been here before, probably more than anyone. Did CAC see an opportunity with such long waiting times on submissions. Time will tell.
A video about my favorite subject - sample slabs. A valiant attempt at removing the paint. Sorry to hear it didn't work as well as hoped.
The 1964 Kennedy Half-Dollar in the PCGS old green label holder simply denoted as Mint State seems to be a Superb Gem ! 🧐
Awesome Coins 👍 very nice condition 👍😊
Nice pick-uos
Big like number 18! Excellent video and thank you so much for sharing! Fabulously done!!
Great looking coins
Nice!
dude those zircon cases are the sheeeeeet never seen those before!
Is the ANACS Ultra PL...similar to Cameo from other Graders?
ANACS' UDM is the only TPG term that goes further than DMPL. NGC may use DMPL * but I'm not sure if that's actually used. ANACS uses Cameo PL/DMPL but I have no clue what makes a coin cameo pl or if its just a different term used for the same thing,
That 03 Morgan is a beauty...I think it's better than a 5.
Great luster on that 1903
Sweet coins
Nice
Always enjoy your videos
Some sweet coins! Thanks for sharing :)
you are a new find to me - I'm a wheat collector
All great coins. Thanks!
Nice coins. I love the 1916 Lincoln. The 1916 has the sharpest detail on Lincoln's beard.
Yes, my favorite as well. 1916 had some great preparation of the dies
As with any grading service, part of the result is the opinion of the grader. I like ANACS because the prices are lower and you don’t have to get a membership to send in your coins. I haven’t sent in many coins so far but with whAT I got back I’m satisfied, and have sent in more coins to be graded. All in all I see many positive reviews of his company.

Disagree with you , prefer ANACS , grading is excellent .
Anacs is run by a clown named Jeff? No real dealer will ever pay up on anything with anacs holders Stop being cheap use PCGS only
do you have one of the very first pcgs?? i dont wish i did
Also on the Walking Liberty in 66......don't you think it'd be helpful on resale to get them to note the S/S....I've been looking at Barber Halves that are circulated for the same thing!
On that Seated Dollar in VF 25 - Is there nothing to be said for the "E" on the Reverse and how much of it is missing? I'm no expert on these so it's a genuine question - but it's almost gone!
Great Steely!🤤
Why have to pay membership, huge grading fees then wait for 3 months to get the grades and another two weeks to get your coins? I dumped PCGS several years ago. They graded one of the British Music legends coins as a PR68DCAM! I examined the coin under a microscope and I detected zero flaws! I cracked it out of the holder and sent it to NGC, it came back as a PR70 UCAM. I send my coins exclusively to ANACS now. I've saved hundreds doing this. ANACS is the oldest coin grading company in the country and they do a fine job of grading. So quit your bellyaching brah.
You know coins, but Sir, the conceptual recognizance you possess is lack-luster and bass ackward as hell. This is a stupid opinion pushed into the title. Fact is, PCGS is the most agregious contaminator of the TPGs grading pool. Gradeflation IS PCGS.
Big like number 27! Excellent video and thank you so much for sharing!
How much is 1944 steel cent ??
SIR' THIS NOT A RARE COIN AS IT IS VERY COMMON THE 1943 STEEL CENT!!
Ahhh that’s what a NGC Fatty looks like? 😂. Great looking commemorative!
Why would someone send a circulated 1943 Steel Cent to PCGS for certification ? 🤔 That’s a lovely 1927 Vermont Commemorative Half-Dollar featuring a Mountain Lion / Cougar / Puma / Panther / Catamount on the reverse; yes they’re all the same animal.
Cool to find a steely in 58cac and definitely worth more then 25c haha
I have 60 coins in the old soapbox holders. Two came back cleaned. I feel some are under graded, but I have no intention of sending them to another company. Many are CC Morgans and some Bust halves. Love my soapboxes.
Answering your original heading question . . . . YES. I have been stunned at my last few ANACS submissions. I have had the same feelings as some of the posters above . . . "It is impossible to get a 65 or 66 on a Morgan, despite the coin quality or the previous grading." It almost seems as if once CACG started up with a vengeance, ANACS also decided, "We are NOT going to be #4 . . . we were not even happy being #3 !!!" I have no objections (I have also been an ANA Sectional Rep, and am a CAC, PCGS, NGC, and ANACS submitter) . . . and I respect the ANACS grading, but for those of you who don't buy ANACS coins, or mistakenly feel they are overgraded, or have some innate bias, I can only understand, but not agree, with your opinions. Regardless, as they say, "perception is reality". It is too bad ANACS has been perceived as a lower tier of TPG service. They are certainly NOT.
You asked about cracking NGC holders so you can put them back together. A friend used to put each edge in a bench vise. This breaks the seal and (usually) doesn't break the front and back of the holder. The tampering is clear from the edge, but the holder looks ok from the front and back.
Hmmmm, nice to know.
