At this time on a normal weekend, I would be paying my highway fee in a booth halfway from my homes. There was a time, real people were getting my money, now it's just a contactless robot which made me nostalgic: I love Kraftwerk's "Autobahn", but please, it also needs "Das Model". The whole jam is built around a sequence played on the Minifreak.

My wife is talking boutique with a colleague she invited for an evening apéro riche... so I got back to the studio and improvised this horrendous discoish jam which I however happen to like.

I've had quite an acid reflux today, the night was quite long as I went to bed tired but I woke up even worse. I guess that's Winter.🥺

This jam (in D-locrian #2: D-E-F-G-Ab-Bb-C) is dedicated to my friend, the frantic Klaus, who, one year ago today, decided to hang himself rather than become a burden for those he loved. He was 85 and had been unwell since a clumsy car driver hit his bicycle. RIP, Klaus, we will always look after your wonderful widow.💐🙏🏻

I had a looong day away so I am indulging with a bit of easy listening tonight.🥵

You may have noticed I did not spend the weekend in the Mancave but I stayed in town where I still jammed the way I would have in my rural home. As usual, the title of this jam just popped in my head, I don't think it even fits any being existing or extinct.🤓

I kinda miss the mid 90s and playing Doom with headphones to locate the secret areas. I fear the new generations never had as much fun playing modern video games.🤓

It's Friday evening and I will spend it not on the road before heating a cold house under the snow but in a warm and confortable modern flat where I will keep using the same studio between two sips of something fine... Hence the joyousness and the title of this jam.

I am quite happy now, so don't see the title as a confession, "Swirl" just came to my non-native speaker mind.

Here's a typical sober mid-week jam. I came across this chord progression by chance and liked it so much that I'm also playing it as an arpeggio on the Minibrute 2S in a sort of electronic dialogue. No AI was molested during this session.
