These are great for the most part. You need to take into account how heavy your phone is, especially when it's hot outside since the adhesive can start to let go and then the mount becomes floppy and unusable. The videos of installing them on the middle trim piece in BMW's will only work on some cars. Worked well in my F01 750i because the trims pieces fit very tightly but not in my F25 X3 where there are less strict tolerances for fit and finish.
how strong is the magnets , with time do they lose the power

I was doing this for 8 years now in Mercedes cls 550 benz and all. But i was using velcro!! This is way better!!!!You can do more on this, then any other expensive car tv/system. Any play anything you want, while driving

I bought a used Apple air a few years ago, it ran super well with hotspot in my old ford fusion. It was way cheaper than a new head unit and worked amazing. I have a new car with CarPlay, but I would 100% recommend this

CarMount works with even the biggest iPads and Tablets. Use 2 mounts to install the tablet and make sure the metal plates are installed outside the case if you use a case on your tablet. So it will have a maximum hold. You can find the 2+1 deal here: carmount.com/f1/

👌If you use a thin case, you can install the metal plate inside the case. If you use a thick case, you would need to install the metal plate outside the case. Test it first before applying the metal plate inside or outside the case.
What if the case on the outside is textured??? Will this work????? I hope so. My case is kinda thick, so I have to stick the plate outside

@@thecarmount The ones I ordered do not work in out Mazda CX 5 unless I put in on the leatherette material. There is no place to put it then have the metal on the bottom of the phone. Might need to get a different mount for that car. The work great on my Jeep.

I would SERIOUSLY buy the car mount and the 3D printed part with the case because 1.) I don’t have a 3D printer and 2.) I don’t know how to use one even if I did so….. please sell?? I will buy!! I want to use my iPad as a giant navigation system instead of using my phone 😩

Will it work on my steering wheel?
