Well I've only been a PC user for a few months now but i can definitely feel the difference between 60 and 120fps, never thought i'd say this but 60fps kinda feels unplayable now. I'm going to try it in a few more titles but so far it feels smooth and natural.

I run games at full screen but afmf doesnt work help

@@Viilap Are they Windows/Xbox games? I just tried Hellblade 2 and it isn't working, it might be a compatibility issue. I'll try a couple more games to see if that's the problem.

@@mynameisfen no they are steam games mostly or repacks I've heard that ticking disable full screen optimizations in exe compatibility can cause afmf to not work i have yet to test that

Well in this game I'm playing on the Windows (PC) version which is also cross-play with Xbox so if you choose a particular game mode it'll just put you in an available game. I just downloaded the Steam version, was getting micro stutters so will wait to try out modded servers. Thanks for the comment

Yes I do, it's a lot of fun and very different to most other shooters. Though I do think it needs more content/game modes/maps for it to have longevity.

It could definitely do with some optimisation but I'm personally surprised with how well it runs with epic (1440p) settings considering it only went to early access a few days ago. What sort of performance were you expecting?

I've been enjoying it every day since it's release but I'd definitely say it needs a couple of updates until it's ready for a worthy £30 price tag. I paid because it's something I really wanted to play. If they come through with all the plans on their road-map over the coming weeks then it might be worth sticking your hand in your pocket.

@@mynameisfen I just heard it's annoying aiming that it has mouse acceleration and it's laggy. Is this true?

@@wtfskilz The aiming is definitely unique and takes some getting used to but it doesn't feel like "acceleration" to me, it's more of a sway type of motion that feels vastly different depending on high or low your settings. But to be honest I kinda like that it feels so different to most other shooters, it's a challenge.

It was created by two French kids, one 20 and the other 17 years old using UE5. The control/movement system takes some getting used to but it's a lot of fun.

Hey man, that's very kind of you to say, I appreciate it. I've not played it in a few weeks so hopefully when I do go back to playing it the game will be much better optimised, but saying that the game played pretty well even in the state it was - the 7900 GRE is pretty solid I have to say. I'll be jumping on with my "soothing voice" this evening to stream some gameplay if you're around, would be good to see you there.

I'd say yes, 100%. Even though the game isn't very well optimised right now the GRE handles it well. I've not played it in a few weeks so hopefully it runs even better now with some optimization updates. I'd certainly recommend the GRE, every game I've played so far I've had a great experience playing in ultra/high settings.

I just wasn't used to playing this type of game before so just made a lot of mistakes with how i approached each game/objective. I've not played it in a few weeks so not sure if there's been an update but AI bots were either useless or deadly, I was going into gunfights a little too aggressively I think so kept dying to AI needlessly. I'll start playing again pretty soon. How's the game been for you recently?

Hey man, thanks. I did a short stream yesterday which is up in my live section. Right at the start I show my Adrenaline settings too. EDIT: just checked and i can't find the point where I checked the settings. I'll do a stream today and will go through both in-game and Adrenaline settings. I'm still changing them every now and then until i'm 100% happy with them, it's difficult finding optimal settings at the moment because I think the game/servers need better optimisation.

I also stream while I'm gaming on the same PC and I get 60-64c tempratures for both CPU and GPU - 54-60 when only playing games and not streaming, 160fps in ultra settings for PUBG. Most games I've played have been 110-160fps in most games I've played in ultra/epic settings. The perfect combination for 1440p gaming in my opinion.

I have the standard/reference model so I'm not sure how well it will take to overclocking. I'll look into it though, but I have to say I'm happy with it's overall performance out of the box.

Did the overclock for warzone and helldiver's 2. It's just a slight increase. I'm running a 1080p monitor so I think it's no need. Maybe over locking would make a difference on 1440 p monitor

It was the standard edition, I'll include it in the description. It was never overheating anyway, I'm a complete novice in regards to PC gaming and didn't have my fans configured correctly - I only got it a couple of weeks ago. It's now running an average of around 56-62c in every game I play.

@avn well as I've already stated I'm new to PC gaming so not too sure about the terminology. It's one without any recognizable branding apart from AMD Radeon so I would guess it's a generic card which isn't Sapphire etc. It was a GPU option i included in my build from PC Specialist, it was £7 cheaper than the 7800 XT so I quickly took the chance.
