@@duztinz Dpende na saimo sir, if dili ka gagamit ug landing net, pasobrae lang gamay imong leader aron didto ka gunit sa leader inig land nimo sa isda kung dili makaya ug deadlift. Hi, thanks! I could rate this above a mebaru rod blank. It is slightly stiffer and less wobbly than a mebaring tuned rod. Afaik, mebaru rod are very suitable for your target specie, but if you want to turn up the notch a bit, this XUL is the way to go. It has slightly stiffer solid tip, and the blank also bends while maintaining the fast action form. Ajing rods are generally stiff but it varies from brands, for an instance yamaga blanks market their shorter rods as jighead special and main targets are the japanese aji, but those are definitely softer than other brand's ajing rods.

@snapsnag Thanks for the note here. Coincidentally I actually ended up ordering a yamana blanks 5'3 Blue Current III given I liked the shorter length and as you mentioned it seems softer however seems sensitive enough for some light jigs. Can't wait to get it, just have to wait for the shipment from Japan!!

@@garethmorris2042 Nice choice! I've held an older yamaga BC II and it seems very sensitive too. Those rods are very well made and will definitely last longer. Also looking forward to have my own yamaga blanks soon but I would much prefer the most stiffer in their charts, the previous gen 72/TZ. Enjoy the new gear! Cheers 😊

@@Kozakana_yt Ako nahibal.an na hybrid kay Daiwa gekkabijin EX katong highend nila, Shimano soare SS (without "Ajing"), Shimano soare TT (without "Ajing"). Naa pud sa Evergreen pero dili ko 100% sure kung hybrid ba. Medyo mid to highend man gud kasagaran hybrid tuned.

@@Kozakana_yt Mao gyud sir pero para sa akoa goods naman ang ajing tuned na midrange, kung mostly target nimo is mini pelagics, go for ajing tuned rod nalang bisan pa naa ka sa shore or pier. Ang lisod sa ajing kung daghan structures ang imong spot, lagmit ka maputlan, kay tungod stiff ang rod, dili mo compensate sa pressure sa line kung naay rockfish sa line nya mosuk2 sa mga structures. Pero ug mini pelagic ra imo targeton, goods ra kay di man mosuk2

If you are planning to use lighter jigheads around 1g or less, Vanford or Soare BB is the better option. I believe they feel way better compared to luvias when it comes to resistance. But when it comes to tolerance, luvias is far better. It doesn't take a lot of effort to crank, its still light but vanford and soare is just a little bit better in my opinion.

Hi. Yes, occasionally, I cast those weights. I've tried the Cultiva Bullet 0.6g and Harimitsu MB03 0.5g, since the rod is XUL, and the mid blank is a little bit bendy compare to a usual ajing tuned rod, must be the reason why you still feel a little bit of resistance while using those jighead weights. For me its good because it lets you feel the line that translates to the sensitivity even in very light weight jigheads. Although there are a lot of factor that affects sensitivity.
