Earplugs & a travel blanket! Sometimes you want to sleep or even just read and all the noise on a plane is too much, so earplugs really help! Also, sometimes the plane is extra cold or again you want to sleep and a small travel blanket really helps!

I'd bring some hand sanitizer and a disposable N95 mask. Might not need it, but you never know.

Medication and supplements always go into my carry on bag.

Here are some items I use that weren’t on your list. A small tablet for entertainment 8~10 inches. I bring my own wired earbuds with decent noise isolation they work with the tablet an in flight entertainment system. Several moderately priced earbuds have a seal that work as well or better than common earplugs and doesn’t drain my batteries. Pocket tissues (dry air irritates my sinuses). Hard candy or throat drops (the dry air irritates my throat), gum. Water bottle. “hygiene” wipes because airplane TP sucks. Hand sanitizer. A buff (can be used as an eye mask, headband, neck warmer, beanie, etc..), mini flashlight, spare flashlight battery, lighter. Compression socks. Slip-on shoes or athletic shoes with elastic laces making them slip-on. prescription glasses & case. Today’s dose of vitamins & meds, I take them with food so it helps to have them handy when get bite at the airport or when I eat my protein snack. Tweezers and nail clippers. When I don’t bring them I wind up needing them. A couple doses of Benedryl and some ant-acid, just in case.

Leave the gorillas alone! There's only about a thousand left.

Pepto bismuth is known to ‘cure’ stomach issues and I travel with a full complement of tabs. Thankfully, I’ve only had water poisoning in two places: Bavaria and Ohio, USA. Neither time was I aware of the pink tabs. Won’t catch me away from home without them.

Hand lotion. No rinse face wipe. Extra earplugs for the nice man who put your luggage in the overhead bin twice, because you forgot something. Throw away pair of socks for the lady wearing pantyhose who can smell her own feet, after she removed her shoes, but thinks you can’t. Silk scarf that covers eyes and mouth (possibly open while sleeping) and hides any inadvertent drooling. 😊

I cruise a lot, and have found that my kindle is a lifesaver on planes, in airports, on cruise sea days by the pool, and to get me to sleep at night.

Buying a luxury bag is the stupidest investment. I personally don't think it's worth spending so much money on a bag. It is better to invest in gold. Of course I also like those big-name bags. But I couldn't bear to give up the money. So all my bags are replicas of H Q D U P S.

Great advice! I don’t understand why people wear sandals and flip flops when traveling. I will not be carrying them across the jet fuel in my closed toe shoes! And shorts, just no. I think you covered everything. I have to have my water bottle and mints or gum for my ears during take off and landing. I bring my Kindle also.

Great tips! The sneakers just makes sense and yet nobody’s ever mentioned it except you! I would absolutely wear sneakers 100% I don’t understand people who wear flip-flops on a plane!🤷‍♀️😳

I do all that except for the headphones! (I’m deaf). In case I missed you mentioning it, I ALWAYS bring an empty water bottle. I fill it up after TSA. And I bring a change of clothes. You never know and yes I needed them once.
