thank you so much. This helped me figure out what was going on with my vehicle and it was exactly what you said. I pulled it apart and seen that the PCV cover was cracked and I replaced it and now the whistling noise is gone you rock.

Anyone looking to take the belt off there is an easier way. Get a wracked strap going around the top of the spring and bottom of the a-arm. Get the strap tight with your fonger holding the top of the strap from slipping. Crank strap till belt is lose
