Oof. This didn't age well. We only knew that pre-orders were low and PS5 sales were bad... but now we're getting info that it only sold 500k with around 30k refunds. This would make it worse than Anthem.

If you want to know how actual game was it was ok. The way people were going on about the dialogue and writing I expected something like MK 1 reigns of Chaos level of bad. However the worst thing I can call it is a little generic gameplay is good though. If you want to know what you think play it for yourself to see what YOU think.

27:10 alright thats pretty bad, but heres the thing. Imagine you and your partner had a dead baby. Now imagine 998 more. And you know who did that to you. I like Lily, because i disagree with roughly 50% of the things she says, and i enjoy seeing different perspectives. All these videos are nitpicking at singular details and assuming the worst while thinking of oneself in the highest regard.

I’m stuck on how judgemental does not see the connection in their own statements and suspecting someone criticizing the show like they did hasn’t actually watched it. Real talk you cannot go “why are the heroes going to the literal only location left needed for the villains to complete their plan, the writers just went oops last kingdom left so there they go” then act confused on why someone suggests some rwby critics seem like they don’t actually watch it. It’s like going “hey aang only needs to learn firebending now, but why are they looking for a firebender to teach him instead of just working on his earthbending???” Or “yeah the criminals said they’re gonna rob 4 banks and already robbed banks 1-3, but why are the cops gonna wait at bank 4 instead of going back to bank 1-3” it’s like judgemental forgot the whole villain’s plan and plot and claimed it was a writing issue when their lack of attention to the literal main plot causes them to act in accordance with their goal to stop the villains

The show for me just died a long time ago because the writing got sloppy and character development would come and go, the voice actors don't even like working with each other anymore.

Great video! I've thought of doing a contrast piece between the two brainiacs since while both are Krypton and fully ai, both are vastly different in there approaches (as you've explained). I've done few MAWS related videos since I dig the show. Between the Brainiacs, I might prefer STAS conceptually, but overall, I prefer MAWS petty hater Brainiac. I also find it interesting how they relate to the conversation of ai at the time, when STAS came out it was more new and easier to view as simple and controlling. Now in this time with MAWS, we're more used to it being out of control and sporadic. I could see this brainiac returning in some from in the future, excided for a season 3.

Weird that Critter expresses all this vitriol about Vacuo "being set up 5 minutes ago," when theyre literally showing footage of Ambrosius who _did_ get set up not even 5 minutes ago lmao.

Shoutout to a dude who auditioned for a role in V7, got rejected, so decided to make a "parody" video that wildly misrepresents the series along with bad faith critiques that became one of the milestones of the htdm, and *then* actually _got_ a role in V9 as... a guy who peddles garbage around trying to trick people into thinking its legit. Sheer poetry.

Gotta say, Lily's repeated use of "Ohhh, you have a kink! You must find this _attractive!_ How disgusting!! You're so perverted!" is seriously pissing me off. Like, A) It's really messed up to infer all this very personal stuff about someone you've never met solely based on a TV show they worked on and B) having desires is not a bad thing. I mean I guess I can kinda see how it could be gross if you think SU is just a bunch of fantasies trojan horse'd into a kids' show but like, why does she seem to think that all this stuff must be someone's fetish in the first place?? Maybe giant space women are just cool and scary, and the idea of two people merging into one person with their combined physical features and personalities which reflects the nature of those two people's relationship is really fun and interesting. That's how I feel, at least. Edit: Okay, I like this video but I think it's a bad idea to assume that Lily has NPD. Armchair diagnosis is never a good idea, and there's been a lot of scaremongering online about people who have NPD recently. Also, I don't really know how to feel about mentioning her messed-up fanfic and original work in the context of this vid either. I feel like using that as some evidence of her being a bad person is granting some legitimacy her deeply flawed worldview, and furthermore, hasn't she done some far more serious harm to actual real-life people? I think that says more about her than a fanfic.

Well, this would probably count as headcanon at best, but many robots are like insects. The actual thinking bits of the robot are throughout the body, mostly in the torso. The head is mostly just filled with sensory items like the eyes and nose. It all just depends on what the author wants, really.

Almost through the “Penny death” section, honestly still waiting for the usual anti-critic tag line for Vexxed Viewer of “Vex is evil and should off himself” I heard your whole thing about not wanting to do that before; I just don’t believe you don’t want all RWBY critics dead because, well, that’s what Fans of this show want. It’s perfect and the writers are perfect, aren’t they? So saying anything negative is akin to saying a racial slur. Edit: “they aren’t as bad as Lily or Hero Hei” …then why have you been lumping them together?

Great Video to listen, im surprised you didn't mention the side of fans harassing people or labeling someone as monsters for daring to having an opinion on something that isnt positive or criticising the product. like ive seen people who criticize steven universe, rwby and HH/HB as monsters or "Antis" as they call them. like example when a cartoon reviewer named Cartoonshi got harassed or when an fan artist for steven universe got harassed for drawing rose quartz to skinny ( this was before the episode of Rose Quartz first appearance came out) and the general awful stuff that the toxic side of the fans do.

Hope the audio sounds better on this video. I did a lot of work editing this one. I took about an hour out of the video so it wouldn't be so long as well. I had a lot more material from the Grimm contest to the Ironwood vs. Ruby debate and critics fighting over what the VA did. There was even another time everyone thought Penny died again in the eighth volume, but another character, Winter, actually verified she was still alive the next episode. The whole RWBY drama saga was a lot longer and had many more grudges than I've shown, but I still like the way this video came out in the end and hope you enjoy it as well. Edit: Also, a bit of a correction the bi erasure guy bi erasure comment wasn't on blizzics video but a Xel the writer video about the slow burn romance with bumbleby.😅

I'm glad i checked this video, it's honestly so frustrating that RWBY's story often gets misconstrued and muddied by bad faith criticism surrounding the series. In any case, i believe that things are looking better as of now even if the mobs are restless(new reactors finding enjoyment in the show left and right is honestly refreshing). But yeah i can definitely see your point in regards to how people perceive media can be altered by the drama surrounding it.
