I think I just have an affinity for mid-budget horror puzzle games but I'm really enjoying this whole series. I think the devs elevated it from the joke of "Haha what if Dora but dónde está el cuchillo" into its own thing. Also my nibba Wooly is the best boy. He should have plushies being sold in the indian street stalls, not those poppy playtime monsters.

I hate to say it, but this game is like a poster child of the issues I have with most of the indie horror titles we're covering lately. The combination of lack of clear objective alongside jank event flags means there's more than a few times I as an observer couldn't tell if it was the game trying to be atmospheric or the event flags nor cueing up properly. Now I understand the issues with knowing what's coming, but it also helps to know if you need to try and debug it.... I got nothin'...

Aw yeah, narwhal-on-narwhal action In all seriousness, this is pretty cool! I was baffled by Zilla when I first encountered them in Battle Card Ep 2, and never really gave them the time of day. A lot went way better than expected for a part-Tiger one too. Speed being a viable defense stat, that hard-hitting special attack ( 🤙) brings back fond memories of Surf in Pokemon Stadium, and his first Errantry move being a high-accuracy one was a great opportunity. I also saw that Forfeit button spam on Blue Phoenix and given their insane INT, I can't blame you. If I were in your shoes, I'd rather not have Uni-Baby get melted into lamp oil from a single fire attack either. He's certainly gone far, though, so it's a shame he didn't get past S Rank. And I don't know if this is welcome advice, but I wonder if too many Errantries are becoming an issue for lifespan? But I do agree: if he was eligible for peaches, Uni-Baby would be more than worthy.

Early game accury was absolute TRASH and training was too inconsequential. Having to pay to feed, only get 2-3 trainings a month, and stats not making ANY sense in battles makes this an obnoxious game overall.

. Definitely lucked out with choosing Gooji as you're first cuz other than the power and speed preference it's the most balanced Zilla. Zilla's are just fun, big doofy titans of a monster they're always fun to witness! Makes me sad they didn't come back until LINE.

Two whole "Skin" mentions in the video! I feel so seen and valid, like a Californian. Anyway, things are getting crazy. We already knew Hamln screwed over "Amanda" and her dad from the first game. Not that I want a clear answer as to what is happening (I still think they're going to milk it for a third game at least) but some meatier clues wouldn't go amiss.

I beat this game a while back. Its ok but random encounters are annoying. Rubber robo medals should have been buyable or just let me run away

This game is way better than the rpg. I would have preferred they have the rpg but this battle system. Also calling out the grind is a weird criticism when the point of the game is to just endlessly battle. You had to be on round trips in the backseat with a GBA to understand why this game rocked

The thing with the game is that they got Etrian Odyssey Director and Composer onto 7th Dragon which is why some things feel familiar in the game.

Wracky is such a weird monster. Highest lifespan of all monster types, with the utter worst stats and nature to go with it. Funnily enough despite that, a Wracky/Joker was my second ever Hall of Famer!

Macaroni buildings non-withstanding, this style of game with the lower-end graphics but with atmosphere and just enough detail to jog your imagination could be the new standard for indie 3D. If the dev keeps working at it I'm sure they'll make even better games in the future.

I'd call Angel Hare an analog wholesome series. Angel Gabby is nice, and the only horror comes from Jonah's repressed trauma.
