Thank you Thomas, this is harder than it looks. I can do the basic squat. I will have to find a way to work up to this.
This is a perfect example of a squat progression once mobility and range of motion have progressed to a point where you're looking for more of a challenge. Enjoy!
Is this exercise also called as double crunches?
Yes. There are variations that go by both names, but they're very similar.

Do you recommendations on how to use these moves? Like how many sets and how long of sets?
Typically we recommend starting with 4-6 reps each side and integrating this movement into a workout including 2-4 sets.
Theses video all look amazing. I'm gonna throw a couple into my workout today.

This is a great one, thanks, Thomas. I’m burnt out from my first harder trail-run focused season since moving out to British Columbia from flat Toronto. I’m looking for more varieties of training and am actually accepting off-season for the first time in my life! This exercise is innovative and functional, I’ll use it👌🏻
