My controller charges but when I hit the PS button it doesn't turn on, when I plug it in yellow light glows and it charges. I even hit the reset button multiple times it doesn't seem to work. Any clue on how to fix this?

I had the same problem. What I did was disconnect battery, remove ehdd, then press power button to drain any electrical charge in capacitor for 30 seconds. connect battery cable, then turn power on to see apple logo. turn off power. If you see apple logo then you can put everything back together.
