7.28.24 Jesus fulfills our consistency PART THREE
Hebrews 13:10-15
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat. 11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify (set apart) the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. 15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving (confessing) thanks to His name. -NKJV

Hebrews 13:7-9 7 Remember those who rule (lead) over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about (away) with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have b...

Hebrews 13:1-6 1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. 3 Remember the prisoners as if chained with them-those who are mistreated-since you yourselves are in the body also. 4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. 5 Let your conduct be without c...

Amazing!
Carl, Our God is an Awesome God! Your great uncle Lloyd was raised in the Lutheranism religion and he did not know Jesus either. I came from a Nazarene, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic background, as my mom and dad would drop us off for Sunday school whatever was the closest one and I became Lutheran when I married Lloyd. So both of us were very lost and equally yoked in the sense that we didn’t know the Lord. We got married in the Lutheran Church in Fremont Nebraska, Good Shepherd Lutheran church... We started our family and our 2nd child was very ill at birth, however all during my pregnancy I would have the feeling one of us were not going to make it through. When Kelly was born she was fine for the first four days, However the fifth day she was very ill and we had her taken to children’s Memorial Hospital in Omaha and there is where we met God it was our first experience with Him as we were told that Kelly would not make it through the night we had her emergency baptized and we knew very little about what was happening but in the middle of the night after receiving and reading a devotional book from my girlfriend and it was actually a unity devotional monthly, (God can use anything), that I woke up and I felt a warm breath on my neck and I thought it was first Lloyd but as I lifted my head he was sound asleep and on the other side of the bed. So I knew that God was talking to me.. My father had had a talk with us before we went to bed that night and was telling us to let her go and just be happy with having our oldest daughter, I remember just before going to bed saying “God if you’re real please please show us” I read devotional, Felt God’s breath on my neck and I knew she was gonna be fine we went to the hospital the next morning and she had been on 70% oxygen and when we arrived she was 70% breathing on her own. That began our first adventure with our God, we sought Him in many different Lutheran churches and when we would go on Sunday, we felt okay, but not alive in Jesus! We moved to Grande Island for a year and then to Loveland Co.. Where once again God would use Kelly to bring us to Him, the very night we moved into our home she had a fever of 104 and going through some convulsions, we took her to the hospital and a urologist who had just moved into Colorado was called, he got the fever down and operated did a bilateral urethra implantation, again we went to our knees and cried out to God, and He saved her, This went on through a period of eight years throughout her life and to this day that Dr. remembers Kelly as she had to have some extra work done and they wanted to know exactly how the technique he had used worked in ‘76...., We went to church every Sunday and we tithed and we took communion and I had been baptized three different ways and Lloyd had Catechism classes as did Shelly and Kelly was not old enough yet but we were not filled with Him. We Went to Bible studies, but we really didn’t know God.... We had lots of friends and we did the same thing we did when we were in the world I mean we didn’t have drugs or anything like that but we just walked and talked and acted like the world We tried a non denominational church, Lloyd was on the railroad and in 1983 they brought in a speaker and he knew God, he talked about God he walked the talk we saw things come alive and knew that Jesus was real and God is the father and we understood the triune God! We were a conservative Charismatic church, Maranatha music flowed and so did the Holy Spirit. We moved to Oklahoma City and continued to go hear the speaker when he came to other churches, because we knew he had the truth. His wife was my mentor and she has since passed. We were so fortunate to be under the teaching of Leonard Ravenhill, whose mentor was AW Tozar. Leonard Ravenhill had mentored David Wilkerson, and was my mentor’s mentor when she lost her husband. We got to Arizona only by Gods plans, we prayed and watched as He would take us where He wanted us to be! He softened our hearts, opened our eyes to our hearts and we truly saw Him as Jehovah Nissi, His banner over us is love, Jehovah Jireh, our provider in everything, Jehovah Rophe, our Healer, He is everything Psalms 91 says He is! Our High Tower the Lifter of our hands! He has taken us on Journey after Journey. We have lived a very full life, we are created for His pleasure and wherever or whatever He wants us to do, we do! We are seeing Jesus in almost all of the Old Testament, the Tree life in the Garden of Eden. He walked with Adam in the cool of the day, He was the Ark Noah built and was saved from the great flood, He was the burning bush Moses saw, He is the Angel of the Lord, as He wrestled with Jacob through the night, He walked through the blood of the sacrifices as Abram went into a deep sleep, and made a Covenant with Him, He was Melchizedek as He had no begging no ending no parents, He was the great High Priest, oh yes and He closed the door of the Ark and He was the Cloud of Glory in the daytime and the fire at night, He was the Rock Moses struck to get water, He was the Lampstand and the Table of Shewbread for He is the bread of life, the Manna, the tabernacle.....oh gosh, and I skipped a lot... so that’s our Testimony that is His, for in Him, we live and breathe and have our being!
We loved your testimony and would love to talk with you more. We love your mom and dad. We went to their wedding and your grandmother was Lloyds half sister. We have not been as close as we’d like to be, but God has called us to different parts of the country. Lloyd & Sharon Conklin
