The rock standing up perfect to snatch a wheel on Haymaker is actually a trail feature if you take the inside line

Mtn Creek is close to me so I ride there regularly, just wish I could carry the speed you guys do….. You used to be able to session Haymaker and Shiner Stash by climbing back up under the power lines, but lately it’s too overgrown. Definitely could use a couple more direct climb trails.

What makes this one ranked so high when all trails looks the same? Looks like a lot of peddling for only a little flow downhill.

I don't like the middle line on the outpost. It kicks awkwardly and makes you off balance. It's not a good transition they should be reworked.

I'm with ya, it gets old quick. Also I am with ya about the two wooden lips on the middle jumpline, they really need to be reconfigured. They just don't work well and dudes are always getting bucked on them.

Real question: never thought about this, but would rainX work on the go pro lens? I do think it has Alcohol within so perhaps might help the water bead up and not impact the cam. But this would have been a prime candidate for the use.

Found Kitsuma by mistake when on vacation. Rode it on a $600 low end bike store hard tail, disc brakes weren't even hydraulic. Was thinking the whole time "this thing is pretty stonky for a little local trail". Love it, hope it endures.

I just moved to Raleigh last month and was planning to head out there to ride Kitsuma and Heartbreak. When lives and homes are rebuilt and trails eventually reopen I’ll be the first one out there throwing all the money into the local economy.

God, I hope the trail still exists, it's one of my favorites. I remember riding it with my fully rigid Trek Sawyer. My hands were killing me after that. The Greenway is called the point lookout trail, before that, it was old 70. Old Fort has been doing all kinds of new trail building. I've been up there a couple times this past year. I was planning a lot of fall riding, that's going to have to be put on hold. Haven't heard much, I was thinking Curtis Creek Road had probably turned into a waterfall. So sad😢
