Neytiri - Avatar - ASMR Unboxing and Review - Avatar: The Way of Water - Hot Toys 1/6 Scale Figure

I was on the fence for a while with this one. I really love Avatar and was hoping we'd get a Neytiri from the first film, but that never materialized SO, when this one was announced... I hesitated for some reason. After a while though I finally decided I needed it and tracked one down.
Glad I did! I'm very much trying to diversify my collection to more than just Marvel and Star Wars, and this does the trick nicely! Amazing detail, super cool light up base, and above all just HUGE. It's about 1.5x the size of a typical 1/6 scale figure - so the shelf presence is wonderful.
My only complaint is that the joints are very sti...

It's still a good figure to this day. I did do a body swap on mine to take care of the loose joints. Syndicate customs also has an animated style Ventress headsculpt that would look great on this figure.

There's a reason no one bothers with the very first sideshow figures, lol sorry but they are dreadful.
I'd totally forgotten about the Mynock. Loved the creatures Sideshow used to sprinkle into certain releases. I still use those original Sideshow stands for all of my Hot Toys Star Wars figures. They were so simple and consistent.
