GREAT demonstration! I just performed this test with a similar brand (11-point test) because last week, on a much simpler home test, I tested as having a UTI. All was normal this time (after antibiotics) except S.G.--way off. I will have to search elsewhere to know what that means and whether it's important. MAY call your company number if I have no luck, so thank you for providing contact info.

I just got some strips like this and didn't even know where to pee- on the white end or coloured end (I tried both ends and was still confused as the results didn't look much different from pre-pee colours), and I couldn't figure out the two colours on the chart, so thank you for explaining it all so clearly! I tested the strips in water bought in the market supposedly with ph 10 and I got a result of 7. I tested another strip with half a glass of water and 2 TBSP of bicarbonate and I got a result of 8. Can someone from that company explain it to me?

What if only the edge of the dipstick changed color ? for example for protein : the square stay yellow but one edge blue

I use a clean desiccant pouch / canister in the urine strip bottle to attempt to extend strip life.and, then store the strip bottle away from the bathroom, in a low place, to avoid heat.

Wouldn't you start at the bottom, 30 secs, then up to 60 sec items etc and you have to keep up. Should have someone else watching the clock, recording the results. I think she said just wait the 120 to do them all which would be a big blunder.

I wish they make test strips more geared towards drinking water. instead of swiming pool and spa.. i was looking for the other heavy metals arsenic manganese etc but instead see cyuniric acid which is what people put in their swimming pools..

I seem to always get a false positive reading when I use these test strips. I have tried two different brands of these kits on two separate occasions, and got a positive result (strip turned purple). What would cause a positive result if you don't have an infection? For the above reason, I no longer use these kits! LOL!
