I.just purchased the speed Queen front loader today it's going to be delivered tomorrow I hope that I don't have this issue Thank you for posting Good information I do lots of laundry so it's important to me that it's working correctly I am happy that speed Queen is replacing it for you
@@trudyvaccaro1560 Congratulations 🎊. I am very happy with my SQ and have had not one problem with it at all. I so hope the same for you my friend. Please let me know how things go. Welcome to the SQ family.
I know who your talking about. I starting following her recently. She has a website too. I want the Zo. I have the 47413 Westbend. I made a mistake showing husband price tag now he is against it. I will have to sneak it in I guess. Oh by the way, I bought a scale and am using that now.
@@patricia_burkham congratulations on joining the bread folks. lol 😂. If you’re really wanting the Zo machine I have two ideas for you. 1) Let everyone know that you want one and people in the family/friends can pitch in for Christmas so you can get the best gift ever. 2). I believe Amazon and Zo website and others will let you purchase the Zo machine and pay with installments. I hope this helps. Happy breading.
Keep the load minimum and use lose soap powder!😎👍
Okay 👍. So what will this show or what are you looking for?
You've mentioned this is very quiet. Does this have excessive vibrations during the aggressive spin cycle? Do you have a video of the spin cycle??
@@gnewt75 There are many videos of this machine that does include the spin cycle. Or are you just asking for a spin cycle with nothing in the washer? However this machine is pretty quiet.
@@Bunkysworkshop clothes preferred. I'd like to see if there's vibrations during battle conditions while working as normal.
I did the same thing May of 2023, didn't want to spend the extra money. Yesterday I sold my SQ top loader since I bought the front loader. Super thrilled with the front loader.
@@nancymalia4880 Congratulations 🎊🎉. I believe it will serve you for many years to come.
What's that rattling that @53:00?
@@gnewt75 That is the light vibrating on the door. I use the light so you can see the wash action.
@@Bunkysworkshop oh. So it's the light on the door making the rattling noise. It's not the machine itself.
@@gnewt75 That is correct. If you watch the video again and look at the light you will see the light start vibrating.
We must be living in a parallel universe or something! My husband and I just bought virtually the same trailer in 2021 same floor plan (except we have the dinette in the slide and twin beds that convert to King bed) and exterior, door in the same place, 2 front pass thru storage areas except it's a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108TB.
@@jacquievickerspioneerresea2730 How do you like it?
@@Bunkysworkshop I LOVE it! I also love yours. What length and width? Ours is 22.5' x 7' and slide out makes the width about 9.5'.
@@jacquievickerspioneerresea2730 length 22 width 8ft with slide out it’s 10’6”
@@Bunkysworkshop AND I absolutely love your huge counters in the kitchen and the shower!! Wow. Just wow. All the trailers with long counters we looked at had no storage or oven. I think if we bought another about the same size, we definitely would try to find a Grand Design Imagine XLS 17MKE!!!! Thanks Bunky!
@@jacquievickerspioneerresea2730 Welcome 🤗. Happy RVing.
I just started today on my trip through Ebay for this Sunbeam Oster mixmaster. I had one up until 2 years ago when the motor just died. I gave it away to someone who I hoped would fix it. I had it for at least 30 years. It NEVER let me down. I then bought a KitchenAid 5L Artisan that is not the same as my old Sunbeam. Hopefully, my ebay experience is a good one. ;)
@@jacquievickerspioneerresea2730 I hope all works out for you. If possible ask questions and see if they will send you a video of the mixer working.
@@Bunkysworkshop that would have been a good idea to see a video of the mixer working but I got so excited to find the exact model, that I just bought it. Sooo, I hope when I get it, it's all good. Fingers crossed ;)
@@jacquievickerspioneerresea2730 I think all will be okay 👍. If not then get a refund.
My favorite washer, the FF7.
@@erg844 This machine has become my favorite washer for sure. If you look back in my older videos I had the SQ top loader and loved it. However this machine tops it. I still have the top loader but it’s now down stairs.
@@Bunkysworkshop whats the song in you thingy mabiober
@@Fordstrucks1993 What song?
@@Bunkysworkshop I remember watching your earlier videos of your top loader. I became a fan of Speed Queen when I used their commercial front loaders at my local laundromat and I had lots of fun doing my laundry in them. Now I follow them on social media and give my support to them.
@@Bunkysworkshop the one in the intro of your video
Hi Bunky, I notice that the suction wasn't all that great myself just by the way that you had to keep going over the area's several times to pick everything up!!! Now that's surprising because I have the Miele C3 complete in white with the deluxe powerhead that I use all the time to clean with and I'll tell you that vacuum is loaded with power!!! Just one complete swipe up and back and the area is clean with nothing left behind... I thought about getting the Miele upright to match and then I'd have the best of both worlds, But I think that it would be a little hard for me to push with my back so I decided to stay with just the canister... Thanks for the video and have a great night... Bob
I must say I was surprised that it didn’t do what a Miele is capable of doing. A take down is going to happen just to make sure that all is in working order before I condemn it. lol 😂
I do belive that either Performance Reviews or Ibaisaic said those we Panasonic made. Miele was not sure how well an upright would sell so they didn't do the R&D but offered this. It similar to older Panasonic built Kenmore Uprights. Then Miele offered, built by them I think, the U1 and S7 line. Those were cancelled for low sales which I think was due to Miele having a stronger European market where Canisters outsell uprights.
Thanks for sharing, I've been on eBay for nearly 25 years and it's really declined. When I list an item, I always include a video, especially an item that is electrical, showing condition and that it's operable. It's 2024, sellers should be including a video with their listings. Just my $0.02. Sorry you received in that condition, those defects should have been disclosed. Happy vacuuming...
@@bribrimc73 Very smart with the video idea. Keep up the good work. 👍
Hi Bunky, I just had to watch this video again because this is one of my all time favorite vacuums and I was just wondering if you still use this from time to time to clean your house or did you retire it to your showroom??? Thanks again for this great video and have a great weekend... Bob
@@maryrobert80 I keep it upstairs in the theater room and it’s a pleasure using it.
@@Bunkysworkshop I had 4 of them, Aren't they a great vacuum to use???
@maryrobert80 We have central vac but I’d rather pull this unit out. Older is better sometimes.
Now that’s a lovely machine, you guys have the most powerful heads over there 😅
@@HooverLux Feel free in stopping in and giving one a try.
@@Bunkysworkshop Oh I will 🥰
I have heard of people washing these hoses in hot soapy water. I would hang it over a pipe for a week or two to let it dry thoroughly. You could make a filter and attach it with a rubber band or zip tie. It you take the bottom plate off, you could probably fix the height adjustment. A belt is no biggie. Bearings probably need greased. Most people dont know if there is anything wrong with the motor, they only k ow that it turns on and runs
@@dancline2143 I’ve always loved the blue on these old machines so I hope I can get it running nicely.
Wow Bunky this really brought back memories for me, Back in 1976 when I was 16 years old I bought this exact vacuum for my Mother for Christmas... She had a Eureka Princess straight suction vacuum with no powerhead before this and you would have to go over the lint and fuzz at least 6 or 7 times before it would get sucked up and sometimes it would just stick to the carpet and she would have to bend down to pick up the lint by hand and feed it into the pipe manually... After a while She started developing back problems and had a hard time bending so I started saving my money from the stock boy job that I had and surprised her with this vacuum for Christmas!!! It cost $129.95 plus tax back in 76 but I didn't care because my Mom was worth it and I didn't want to see her struggle anymore when it came to vacuuming the carpets... All I can say is, when she unwrapped the box and opened it and saw the powerhead inside, I said to her now you won't have to keep bending down all the time to pick up the lint and fuzz and you won't have to hurt your back anymore, She started to cry and gave me the biggest hug ever!!! Thanks for this golden memory Bunky and I wish you luck and hope everything will work out for the best with it??? Take care and have a great night...... Bob
@@maryrobert80 WOW 🤩. You just made my morning my friend. Thank you 😊. I am working with the seller so let’s keep our fingers crossed 🤞. Thanks again.
@@Bunkysworkshop You're quite welcome my friend, I always enjoy watching your video's, Take care and have a wonderful day... 😊😊😊 Bob
Probably wouldn’t be the best idea to wash it with water but there’s probably other ways
No pillows?
@@chrissimmons8871 No pillows just a little water on top.
What mini washer do you use?
@@Ummi.1 Haier portable washer is the machine that we use on our Rv. I did a video on it and how it works. Please take a look.
Thanks for the video. I have the same one I ordered ,should be here tomorrow. First thing I’m making is raisin bread. I always take my paddle out after the last rise on my oster.
@@PatsyB lOVE raisin bread 🥰
I really like these. It would be ideal for small apartment and with the small powerhead it would be nimble for tight spaces as well. Big powerhead for the bigger areas. So far my go to daily vacuum has been Vorwerk VK135 with the Sebo Kombi nozzle. Very light, slim and tons of airflow. I have DIY adapters to fit my favorite nozzle to it like the full size Electrolux ph and Sebo nozzles.
@@vacuumtests9225 What do you think of the Vorwerk ?
@@Bunkysworkshop Well it's like Sebo Felix, but much lighter and more airflow/suction. Con is that there is no onboard hose. It has to be bought separately and attached where the floor nozzles goes. Plastic is a bit creaky and not the same quality as a Felix. Tons of different attachments available. Powerhead can't be used on the hard floors. Separate hard floor nozzle is needed for that. Powerhead can be quite hard to push on thick carpeting, but there is several motor speed and air release controls. It's my current daily vacuum due to the lightweight, nimble nature of it. It's also super slim and easy to vacuum under bed etc. I now have video uploading and it features Vorwerk.
They should have made a aftermarket hose for it . Great video !I have the black one and works great . I don’t use it much I use my Miele U1 eco plus upright and the Miele canister brilliant the bronze color one mostly to pick up after my corgi George :)
@@alexvega7527 They are very easy to use and light weight. The hose idea would have been a great addition for this machine.
This thing is a beast! It'll spin loaded with water before it drains it and spins again. Never seen that before. It's definitely a solid machine. A bit noisy but it's a washer after all.
@@AxlAX I love this machine. It just gets to work and no playing around.
Avoid this brand if your yard isn’t mice/rodent free. Once mice get into this thing via the power cord hole your unit is doomed. They will burrow into the spray foam and chew into the tubes. Good luck investigating / fixing that with this fully enclosed molded hot tub.
Got a unit and died in 4 minutes. I left it upright for more than 24 hours.
@@pepitobenegas Did you return it for a new one or refund?
I do wish these had more power to them. Like you'd think with such a short and simple airpath that they would be more capable. They do fine and I like the flexibility of the design but it just leaves me wanting a little.
Oooh that’s soooo nice, I’ve not tried one of them before. I love the power head on it, will make such a difference rather than just suction only. nice one 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@HooverLux please see if you can get one and give it a try. The bag isn’t that big but it’s definitely a great machine.
I have heard very good things about this machine. It looks like Vacuumdirect is still selling a “H1” quickstep for 200 bucks. As yours looks just like it…you really made a great purchase. Miele quality in a whiz-around machine - very nice!
@@DoctoredGinst I say if you ever get a chance in getting one of these please give it a try. The only down side is the bag isn’t all that big so I do change it out often.
What a noisy, obnoxious machine, but probably was the best available in the 80's or whenever this antique was made. Glad modern machines are silent wilth their DC motors and pumps.
My LG WM4000 with turbo sprays is the best and is quiet as can be. This thing bounces all over the place when spinning..... This was my original choice, but was out of stock at the time...... Glad it was..... LG IS THE BEST and larger size. It also spins @1300 RPM.... Clothes come out almost dry. Very little time in the dryer
You know you overloaded that machine on purpose
@@stanleynickelberry3629 Absolutely 👍. When I’m testing a unit I put it to the test.
Sounds like you guys will have lots of fun with this. My Dad still has, not setup, his 1955 Lionel setup. He was run as on oval with in an oval. My grandparents on my Dad's side gave me a HO scale setup for Christmas of 1988. All of that stuff is still at my parents house in their upstairs family room. I do have a Christmas themed HO scale set as well as Lionel Charlie Brown Christmas set I get out at Christmas some of the time. Lionel also makes a modern track with a plastic base in grey the looks like the road bed that can run on carpet directly. Your vintage original style track doesn't really work on soft surfaces. This is just another one of the many things I explore too but not a die hard full timer. Is there a date on the Lionel Catalog? Those are sought after as the trains too.
Now I can’t wait for Christmas so we can start building our set.
Have the same model and just one will fill u up

Washer is great. Although in need a new dispenser in mine. Part should hopefully be here tomorrow then they can schedule to replace. Any amount of soap I put in it always overflows out the front. No matter what kind. Definitely not happy with sears home service. They’ve canceled the part and re ordered it numerous times. Going on over a month now to get this fixed.
@@ndhonda1282 I would only deal with speed queen directly.
@@BunkysworkshopI have been. They are the ones who actually found out that my part was ordered. Yet they are the ones who subcontract sears home service. Hopefully after this I’ll be good to go. Not impressed with any of this
@@ndhonda1282 where did you purchase your washer? Dealer or online?
@@Bunkysworkshoponline from a place that’s now no longer open. I called speed queen directly when the problem first occurred and this is who they set up service with. Just got the dispenser delivered today and the tech is suppose to come Friday. Crossing my fingers they show up.

@@Bunkysworkshop I use Pantrymama Discard Sourdough Sandwich Loaf or the Feathered Nester Sourdough No Knead Sandwich Bread. Pantrymama’s recipe uses yeast; I use it when I need a quick loaf. Feathered Nester you need to plan but it is an easy recipe. Both have websites. I’m currently learning how to bake using freshly milled flour (fmf) and switching to all fmf. I’ve only baked one loaf so far. If you haven’t seen the Bread Beckers videos/podcast, it is definitely eye opening. I learned about the Zo from the Bread Beckers. I enjoyed your demo. Thank you.

Thank you for doing this bro, been looking at other front load washers and this one stands out from all them.
