This is one of two cars that I would buy IF I won the lottery, this and a 1966 Mustang coupe. Not a resto-mod, not a kit, strictly 100% originals. Probably still couldn't afford it.
100% original means one of the first S3, 427's, built for racing, of which only around 50 were ever made and around 30 sold off when they pulled the plug on production. Any built after this were replicas or "continuation" Cobras. If you want an "original" you better have a 7 figure bank balance, assuming you can find one for sale in the first place of course!

The reason it appears to just kick into life so effortlessly is because it doesn't have a starter motor. Or rather, it uses its 215hp YASA P400 electrical motor that sits on the crank to spin up the V8. By contrast most starter motors have like 5hp lol
