Sorry mate, your audio is unusable to listen to.
There is a bike shop in The Pines, open 7 days a week, weren’t they able to help with a new tyre?
They didn’t have the right size
Ey up Hi Martin, has anyone mentioned your voice volume is low? Music and I assume cam mic are fine, it’s just your voice track Otherwise your video and topics are good 👍
Yes the next video will be clearer. I’ve been experimenting with different mic set ups.
I’m by no means an expert, sorry if I sounded like I was It sounds like you had the same feeling. I’m looking forward to your next video
Ey up Martin My daughter bought me Simon Weir’s latest book for my birthday last July It’s been useful for planning touring routes round Scotland, Yorkshire, Devon and Cornwall. A great book Si thee
Have fun!
We did this walk but in reverse last week. Nice walk
Sturgess of the UK very cool.
Lovely ride again Martin, thank you for sharing.
Thank you. It’s a beautiful part of the country. I’ll be returning to the area at sometime in the future.
The mill at 1'26" on the left is not Cromford Mill. It's the Masson Mill - still built by Arkwright but in 1783
Apologies you are correct
Nice one Martin. Some very familiar views and roads there. Thanks for taking us on the journey 👌
My pleasure
The last time I walked round Rutland water I thought I was in Bangladesh. Won't go back.
Mate this was bloody brilliant and so informative. Thanks so much for this. I’m actually going three shires tmw for the first time. I’ve been to Buxton loads of times but never been to there. I’d seen a few videos and directions before I came across your video but I was still a little confused as to where exactly it was. The funny thing as soon as I saw your video I thought “that looks familiar” I’d been to Luds Church about a month ago and parked on that very carpark. Once I’d done that walk I’d walked up that way a bit to see what was about and literally had walked to the top of that little path you go up but then decided to go back to the car as it was getting late. So now I know exactly where to go thanks to you. This was invaluable mate, cheers very much for doing this. 😊
Thank you. I’m pleased to be of help to you.
@@outandaboutwithmartin445 thank you buddy. It was a huge help.
Thank you Martin I really enjoyed this outing on your motorcycle. The countryside is beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it
Ey up Martin I also have a 2019 Honda NC750X DCT, mainly because of the arthritis in my hands Yeah, it boils my p**s too when people refer to Matlock Bath as Matlock. I live on Matlock Bank, overlooking the town and towards the cable cars at the Heights of Abraham I’ll keep an eye out for you next time I’m out and about Si thee I feel blessed being able to ride round the Peak District and surrounding areas
@@TheMatlockBiker I used to live on Cavendish Road. I’ve walked up Bank Road many times as a youngster
She looks lovely I bet the people at her prom were surprised
Everyone enjoyed her entrance.
Sure no drones allowed on the site, just been checking myself before I ride it today.
I took of and landed from side of main road outside the perimeter. Airspace is controlled by CAA. There are no restrictions on that airspace
@@outandaboutwithmartin445 yep but Rutland water is a SSSI & SPA site so no drones over it according to CAA. Still cool shots and lucky to get them.
Thank you, Martin, for sharing.
My pleasure!
Thank you, Martin the one lane highway makes me, nervous. I am so glad you are driving.
What a great drive Martin thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing lovely Scotland Martian.
Thank you. More awesome scenery to come.
Nice to see Clarkson cam back need more of it
Thank you, Martin, for the lovely walk. I am so glad you are on the mend. I can't wait for Scotland. Thank you for sharing.
Looks lovely, thank you for the guide! Will try this with the kids.
I’m sure they’ll love it
I went there July/August last year with David from David's Hiking and Fishing. It was very cold even then. Another great video, Martin. I'm glad all the surgeries are over. I wish you a speedy recovery. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I’m looking forward to my Scotland trip after I’ve recovered
Love the video. Pity we couldn’t hear the sweet sounds of the bikes 😢
Very proud of a good friend of mine for being part of this. Says like this show people what Sheffielders and Yorkshire folk are really like ❤️👏
It's great to see you out and about again, Martin. Ramshaw Rocks is very deceptive. I went a cropper going up there. I just did an out and back. The drone restrictions are because the rocks overlook a MOD artillery range. It hasn't been used in years, but it's still deemed active. It's great to see you have recovered and good luck with the next op. I can't wait to see your motorbike tour. Thanks for sharing. Ramshaw Rocks is locally known as The Winking Man. Nice to see you back.
Thank you. Due to have hernia op next week so Scotland tour will have to be in car and short walks. Hope to get a welsh motorcycle tour in sometime this year.
Walked through forge dam and Endcliffe park many times in the seventies and early eighties. Im sure there were rowing boats for rental back then at forge dam ?
Your right. I remember the rowing boats in the 70’s
Oh, Martian what a lovely walk. I am so glad you are out and about again. I can't wait for the adventures you have planned for 2024. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. It’s good to be out and about.
nice to see litter on the front at RHB ...that's the UK for you. Litterland.
Looking for a video about Alport Castles for a possible wild camp! This is the best video so far of the hike and of Alport Castles. Liked and Subscribed. Kind regards, Mr Nobodies Wild Camping!
Thank you. I’m pleased you liked it and it’s been a help to you. Enjoy your camp.
Good vid and good trail Gonna check that bit out once the weather improves.
Another beautiful hike Martin. One I've yet to do. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Martin, I walked in your steps today and had a great time photographing the deer😀
Nice one Martin. I got to the top but couldn't stand up. Beautiful walk. I've got to wait until 67 for my State Pension. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching, the bottom rungs we’re too high for my legs to reach, but I got to see the top of the stone with my drone.
Thank you Martin. I love your videos these are places I would have never seen.
Nice to see the seals out there. Thanks for the history and the vlog Martin.
Nice to see you out and about Martin. Beautiful views over Matlock. It is nice to see a park being used. As a kid, I was always in our local park. Thanks for sharing.
your video is one of the reasons why the local Mountain Rescue Teams are having an increased number of callouts here - people are inadequately equipped to reach here - think flipflops on feet etc, a callout may involve helicopter support and the relevant costs. thelangsettwanderer
Cheers pal
I've only come across one of those millstones once so far. At the start of Lathkill Dale, there are two lying against a rock. Apart from that I've not seen any which is strange. A beautiful hike, Martin. Nice to see you back out there. I am looking forward to future vlogs.
Beautiful countryside Martin thank you for sharing your walk it was lovely. See you next time.
Nice to see you out and about again Martin. Great news on the recovery. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍
Hi Martin, Its nice to see the video and guidance. Hope you would have recovered from your operation that was scheduled. Thanks. God Bless you.
I was in tears watching this, I really felt for you. Glad you pulled through and hopefully you will go on fine now.
Thank you I’m well on the mend now
I am so glad you are doing better. Take it easy heal and we will wait for the next adventure. Sending good vibes your way. Bless you.
I have an easy walked planned for later this week. Video should be out this Saturday
Sorry to hear about your ordeal Martin. How you continue to feel better and you are out and about soon. God bless you
Thank you, feeling much better now
Martin, I am so sorry that you had to go through all that. If there was no one to be with you at home, you shouldn't, in my opinion, been discharged first time. Thank God you just didn't take some more painkillers and fall asleep. You wouldn't have woken up again. I agree it was Hobson's choice. Have the operation or die. You take things easy. Walking around the block is a great way to start. The external catheter is far better than the internal one, too. It was obviously not your time. There are plans ahead for you. This is the time I pity our American friends who have to become homeless to pay their medical bills. You just keep at it, Martin, and you'll get there. You are one tough cookie. Thank you for sharing your update with us, and keep that recovery coming on. Stay safe and get well, my friend. ❤
Thank you. It’s obvious as a patient that the NHS are under pressure to clear beds and reduce operating waiting lists.
Sending thoughts and prayers Martin for a speedy recovery. Thank you for sharing such lovely views.
Thank you. Unfortunately things didn’t go to plan and I was rushed back into hospital on Sunday night for a life saving emergency operation. Due to post op complications. Recovering now in hospital
