As much as I totally did this differently than you and just speed rushed through the story, I appreciate you savoring every moment. I totally missed Leslie in this game altogether. Which is a bummer. I do feel fortunate to have been a 13 year old kid in 1997-98 when I first played the original. This game will always have a place in my heart and no game will top it for me. Most of the content isn't that important I guess. I would like to see the Gilgamesch stuff at least, but if you feel burned out, I wouldn't mind the rest of the main story either. There is always the possibility to do the rest if you feel like doing new game plus one day.

Impossible not to cry with Aerith's theme

Funny how you missed Cait Sith the first time when he was literally in front of you 😹 I don't blame you, this whole episode has been just one sensory overload after another. And that Rufus fight was just downright annoying to deal with!

This whole section of the game is where I started to do live streams for the endgame. Gotta say, Rufus was my personal hardest fight; kudos for getting past him maybe a little faster than I did.

I actually don't think Marlene only saw that scene. I think Marlene got a good portion of Aerith's future memories, including that scene. Because she was way too calm in Remake after seeing it. So I guess she saw that her father and Tifa would really be alright, that Aerith was truly a friend and then, unfortunately, also that she died.

Man, Elmyra… I went from not knowing this character existed to being THE MOST TERRIFIED for her out of anyone else. Every scene, I’m going, “Are you kidding me? What are we gonna do to this woman?”

how are you so confused about the standard keyboard controls lmaooo for future reference: menu/settings are almost always either ESC or tab on pc, and its weird when the camera DOESNT rotate with your mouse

Not only the writing a gem but Furina's voice acting solo carried this part. It's very noticeable when she lets her soft persona subtly appear at the end of certain sentences. The acting itself is sublime.

Nojima made a statement that left the song ambiguous. He said the music was about everything (he didn't mention anyone's name). But he said it can also be interpreted as a romantic song and there's nothing wrong with that. However, we have additional information. Loren said in SE's own making-off that “she was instructed to know about Cloud and Aerith relationship”, she only cited this guidance from SE. Nobuo Uematsu says in a nutshell: “it's a love song”, right after Loren says about being guided about understanding Cloud and Aerith. 🥰 And to give more strength to all this, during this making off that they are talking about the song, the video starts with Cloud and Aerith almost kissing. So I guess I'm not crazy for thinking it's a romantic song, given that it's all on SE's official channel and website.

First time around I got yuffie, on my official play through I got Aerith which made happy 😊 i love yuffie but I wanted ether Tifa or Aerith for the date part 🦋

Not to make the scene sadder, but Nojima (writer) said the song isn't about Cloud only its about all the people she loves. Her mom. Elmyra. Zack. Tifa and her friends.
