Absolutely perfect. I am analysing the music theory of this song. But I have to say it's one of the more difficult things I've had to decipher.
Phrygian mode
@@williamsanches7080 Guitarists don't seem to understand what modes really are so I find it incredibly annoying when people throw modes around on the internet. In certain parts of this song you can vaguely talk about modes but more or less, it's just in A minor..
@@bobu5213 The intro riff seems to be primarily in E phrygian dominant to me. start off with a pull off from the m2 to the E and straight to the sharp 3rd
@@MrKoolaidjam You are totally right. Though There is heavy emphasis on the G making it normal phrygian. Not dominant. Though parts of the rest of the song don't seem to bee centered on the E.
@@bobu5213 yeah you're right. I started learning this song yesterday and was playing g# instead of a natural G the first hour of listening and playing before realizing I was wrong so yeah just phrygian, not dominant
