Superman is not suppose to be dark & evil. The true Superman represents hope and goodness. Looks like they are bringing back the spirit of Christopher Reeve's original Superman that kids look up to and is their hero. I am so happy that they are doing this. My eyes filled up with tears listening to the music and seeing Krypto. Can't wait to see this.

The whole Snyder verse got the characterization of Superman and even Batman so wrong with horrendous writing...people are complaining about colour and hope....which is what Superman essentially is. The kid raising the flag and calling out Superman encapsulates the whole idea in just 5 seconds. Henry had the look as an actor but was given bad material and tone.

Henry Cavill was really good as Superman, but he didn't get great scripts. Man of Steel and Wonder Woman were pretty good, but it was all downhill from there. This looks like a fun mix of the Reeve movies and the comics. I hope they succeed with this reboot!

His name is David Corenswet, the new Superman Actor, was the one who convinced James Gunn to add the trunks back because he believes Superman despite being an OP alien he wants to not be scary looking for the people or even children and the trunks will make him look goofy but at the same time a friendly superhero. Because of that, it sold me because SUPERMAN IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DARK IN THE MAJORITY OF HIS LIFE. This is the start of DCU so they added the other heroes but James Gunn said that he won't put in much in screentime but just to introduce them but won't pull the focus away to Superman. Btw, the Yamcha pose made my conviction solid to watch this film lol....

Beetlejuice was never the "good guy". He only helped Lydia to get her to marry him. He only wanted to marry her to be free to roam the world of the living without someone having to say his name 3 times (not come back to life). He didn't save Lydia from her fiance, he was getting rid of the competition so he could marry her. It wasn't made to be some masterpiece of a movie. It was made in the spirit of the first one and just meant to be a good time. Don't try to follow any logic of the afterlife.

I liked the movie but honestly it seems like jenna ortega just plays the same character in everything shes in.
