    Hello... your work is wonderful... I would like to make flowers, but the resin doesn't stay on the thread 😔. Is there any technique for this? my bubble bursts every time I dip the thread into the resin. thank you very much ❤️

    Wow the anxiety of that uv light so close the resin lol I actually keep my stuff separated so there's no chance of an accidental cure. 😅 But This design is certainly delicate ✨️

    Just came across your channel. I have to say that this is one of the best wire petal/leaf tutorial videos I've seen! My wire just came in and I've been wanting to do this but feeling very intimidated. I'm a new resin artist as of last summer and loving it!

    Doesn’t look anything like a peony...more anemone! Buy very pretty.

    • @3dundergroundworkshop403
      @3dundergroundworkshop403 Год назад

      I appreciate your input. This actually is a peony. They come in many different looks. This one is a type of Hanakisoi Tree Peony. They have less petals and are more open, with the center showing, like a wild rose. They are also quite large. This one is life sized. I think you’re thinking of the closed peony that is typical of the ones shown in catalogs and magazines. That would be a lot more difficult to achieve with resin and wire. I make those with Polymer clay.

    greetings from mumbai, india. very lovely project-cant wait for parts 2 & 3. i am very new to uv resin so please can you tell me how long to hold under the uv torch and how long to keep under the uv lamp??? your reply will be greately appreciated. thank you.

    • @3dundergroundworkshop403

      Greetings from the US! Thanks for watching! UV resin is very quick to set up. It’ll depend on the thickness of the resin and how opaque it is. For this, I usually hold it under the flashlight about 20-30 seconds each side, and then at least 1 minute under the lamp for the dip. Just a little longer for the resin with the mica powder in it.

    I love your work and your video was really easy to follow. Regarding the UV hand held torch - what strength is the light source? There seems to be a couple of strengths - 365nM - 395nM. what would you suggest? same question for UV lamp. any recommendations?

    • @3dundergroundworkshop403
      @3dundergroundworkshop403 2 года назад

      The nanometers to use to cure UV resin are between 358 and 400. So anything in that realm should be fine. That’s for the flashlight and the lamp. I don’t recall what mine are specifically (threw away the packaging) but I believe it was 400. As far as which one to buy, my first one was $17 and worked great until the buttons got stuck. The second one was $28. So it’s really not about the price. Any of them would work just fine.

    Thank you great video I can't wait to play!! Do you know if it has a temperature limit? With UV resin you're using?

    • @3dundergroundworkshop403
      @3dundergroundworkshop403 2 года назад

      You can get it fairly warm, but unless it’s really cold and super thick, you shouldn’t warm it or cool it. Room temperature should be fine. Never ever stir it. It’ll create a ton of bubbles.
