Thank you, I was wondering what the blue tail was for.
video helped alot! thanks! would love more COGO tutorial videos
Hi Travis, would you be able to share the templates? thanks in advance.
Hi John I’m sorry I no longer have this template. Please try reaching out to your local SITECH dealer for additional training
Nice Video Travis. Well done 👍
what's the s0ftware name that u used it in your video
Trimble Business Center

Very helpful! I just wonder why I only get 2 files after export and you get 4? (I get svd and svl)
You need to add the calibration to TBC in order for the CAL and CFG to export
Travis.. Shows how many people are on our level by how many comments you have on here... Good video mate.. Saves me 10 mins! haha
Travis can you let say shoot 2 points that were staked in the field but not on drawing and then offset the points back out of the way .. Like for example, surveyor put in offset building corners, he didn't offset them enough for digging purposes. I want to move them back further, can ya do that with cogo
Yes you can do this in SCS900 or Siteworks, the way I'd do this is I would stake out a line between these two points at fixed stations so it snaps to either the beginning station (point A) or end station (point B). Then apply a horizontal offset to the line in the desired direction in the stakeout line settings
Also, concerning this video, you actually do not need to go through COGO to do what he does. You simply have to stakeout the desired line, and then go to stakeout line settings and check the option to create tangent/corner points and it will automatically create points at intersections of segments. Then you would stakeout the line at fixed station intervals and you would be able to stakeout a particular corner of a line without any hassle
First of all, thanks for the informative videos. My question is what is the best way to to put 2 inline 3ft offset points at an angle point of a wall bending at say 45 degrees + or -?
Gracias Travis
Sir, what design file formats are supported by this software? Thanks in advance
DXF- linework file and TTM- surface file
Thanks, Brother if you have any other simulator please send me my email civilsurveyor007@gmail.com
Is the export land xml under construction tab the same surface as what civil 3D will export as?
I’d like to see the new utility module in use before I push the boss man to purchase
I wonder how many people are going to set their lines at 100ft because you didn’t clarify that they have to use the actual design grade of the CL of road?
Yes good point. For IC (intelligent Compaction) in Minnesota we actually wont be staking this line. It is actually just used as a reference line for the rollers. If the line does not have an elevation however the machine files will not export.
thanks sir
