Good video,thanks
Would have liked to listen to your explanations but had to mute sound because the music is reallllly annoying and too loud don't understand why people do a tutorial but then add music over it!! Great video without the music 👍
What do you feed him on? Found a gorgeous green toad in a pool in lancashire today. Keeping him.
You need to put a lot more substrate in there. A tortoise needs loads more than that, as they like to burrow! It was hard to hear you over the way too loud music. I had to turn the volume down because the music was awful.
Thanks I made friend with a giant toad and I took him home he loves it
It's not an English Common Toad, it's a European Common Toad.
Cool mine is a angurlate tortise
What sort of tortoise
Great heads up tip . Pre drill before screwing , stops splitting .
Where do you buy this pet in the UK?
Looks similar to my set up only mine was bigger.
The music is too loud
Don't use stick to what you had not natural or healthy
Not enough substrate need two inches at least and research on it what's best for your horsefield tortoise because that isn't .not trying to be rude but do a little but more research on horsefield tortoise for a enclosure. And habitats make sure your ramps are seured
An advice: Don't use tap water (chemical polluted), but pure spring water, or get the water from the toads water hole/lake.
It's against the law! To keep wild animals! You know that right??
Why is your gecko in a box in a drawer?
It must be depressed in that cage.
Where did you get your tank from? And what make is it?
I have three of these guys I keep them in a 20 gallon and I have a tree frog as well in a different set up!
that's a midwife toad not a common
Hey, what do you feed him?
Teh teh Touchwood. 😁 Rainwaters best
hi what stone is that you put on the bottom can you put any stones in
as long as u properly sanitize it yeah
I want a snek but I need to convince my mum lol
Hi I’m really trying for some good supplies for my English comman frog plz if you can find some i will send you my address so you can send them bc I live in the uk.
Please make sure he has plenty of space to burrow!
mansion not mantion should have learnt more
how old is he in the video
Mantion 🤣
Bottled water had micro plastics in
its a glass bottle
What did you line your enclosure with? That black tarpy thing? :) great video btw
Can't hear you over the music
music was awful and I shut off video. Besides, it was boring.
Busy B Farm no need to be rude.
Lots of great ideas here! I would do some things differently, but you have given me lots to think about. I really love the second level. Does your tortoise navigate the ramp well? As to what I would do differently: The pilot holes thing is important so that you don't crack the wood, but otherwise not the biggest deal. I would definitely have made the front and front sides taller. Your tortoise is eventually going to fall out. I would also have made the waterproofing out of epoxy and not pond liner. Your tortoise will eventually puncture it. Hope He/She is doing well and thanks for posting.👍👍 Cheers, Chris
I can't lie, the lack of pilot holes killed me
Can you make a video on what you feed the toad? Especially when its smaller?
The best food for a common toad is a naturel prey and that is chopped up earth worms, every couple of days or so
@@crittersofearth9914 Normal earth worms are fine no need to chop them up
This is going to make me sound really uneducated but here goes. A few months back, in September, I went into my garage to find a little toad. (I live in North Yorkshire) There was mold growing on her back and I decided my garage was not the right place for her. So I picked her up and brought her inside. Now she's in a 30 litre tank. I feed her mealworms every day. There's potting soil and Eco earth, pebbles, plants and hides. Though she doesn't seem to grow. It's been 4 months and I've seen no difference in her size. She's around 2 inches long, she has orangey brown spots, along with black spots. I figured she was a toad. I only have pets like beetles, fish and giant African land snails, though I'm really struggling to find some advice, are there any you would give? Thank you :))
I’m a year late and probably not who you were hoping to get advice from , but when I’m raising toads I feed them mealworms , but also other invertebrates such as crickets and also from my garden such as earthworms and spiders , and I dust them all in a reptile vitamin powder which you can find at a pet shop or online
You should feed your toad 3-4 worms or insects every 3 days
@@Flammper a year has gone by and I decided keeping her wasn’t the best for her. I let her go into my grandparents pond and see her every week☺️
@@elliewhite2088 Oh that's great! I'm glad to hear she was released!
the gecko in the box seemed a bit weird?
Surprised me a bit, thought it was just gonna be stuff for the tortoise 😂
Chlorine if lead in an open container or bucket it will disburse after 24 hrs making water pure and free of any chlorine
I was wondering if this substrate is fine I’ve just used it instead off soil with sand and my tortoise is kinda pissed 😂 but if it’s ok then he’ll have to get used to it, and it’s easier to clean
most substrates are suitable for tortoises as their skin is tough and wont get splinters ect so i feel like its up to you for aesthetics and just let your tortoise adjust.
I really want to own a toad or frog in England but I still need to make sure that it is totally legal.
SuperHamsterSquad it is
@@hajratalib2125 ok thx
@@superhamstersquad343 it doesn’t mean it’s right
Nice job love it
Welcome to another episode of cribz
Great vid dude, keep it up
27:01 That royal's wobble is so bad, I can't believe they are actually selling it. Poor thing.
Great job!!! That's going to be one lucky tortoise!!! :)
Bruv am i listening to the music or you trying to talk mum into buying you a snake. Its so confusing.
So if that's a toad then remove the water dish as toads are not at all like frogs. Toads skin is dry and doesn't need much water just make sure to dampen the soil before use. It will also give more room. DON'T USE BOTTLED WATER. If you have a pond near you use the water from that like I do for my frogs. And they need way more decorations than just plant posts.OH YEAH AND TOADS ARE SOCIAL ANIMALS!
According to experts you should have a water section in a toad hapitate and toads are not considered social animals but they can be housed together
I was interested in going to one of these shows this year however I didn't realise animals were kept in these conditions....how are they maintaining heat?! I'm looking at getting a Uromastyx and they need heat?!
Natalie De Biase the uromastyx have a heat lamp 10:00
do you ever see hog island boas at the shows? if so how much
