Beautiful Dvar Torah and a most important, relevant message.

Its interesting that the Torah gives validity to the choices that animals can make. It doesn't say, your vine shall keep Shabbos, or your fig tree. While we have Halachos pertaining to not growing plants on Shabbos, plants themselves have no Mitzva of keeping Shabbos. But it seems from the Passuk, the Navi Yeshaya, the Chida and this Dvar Torah that an ox and a donkey have a certain degree of choice and must keep Shabbos. When owned by a Jew.
