Food For Thought
Добавлен 1 фев 2023
Food for Thought is a student-run research project that aims to document the stories and insights of people experiencing homelessness in Boston. We are a group of passionate and dedicated students who believe in the power of storytelling to bring about change and raise awareness about the issue of homelessness.
We realized that the stories of those experiencing homelessness were not being heard and we wanted to give them a platform to share their experiences.
Through our research, we have had the privilege of hearing firsthand accounts of the struggles and resilience of those experiencing homelessness. We have learned about the various reasons why people become homeless, the barriers they face in finding housing, and the ways in which they navigate their daily lives.
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.

Hi Josh! So thrilled that you've been housed for 4 months now. I've been back to the square a few times and was hopeful that was the reason you weren't there. Send a message over to my email if you get the chance --> (ben@fftboston.org). It would be great to catch since it's been so long!
Thank you for interviewing me that day. Been less then a year and already so much has changed for me. Im now housed and my treatments for m illness are going well. Just like i said during my interview left foot right foot just keep moving forward. Peace and love to everyone who has watched this and kept me in their prayers
Easy fix dont do drugs
I love how nothing is his fault. Its the corporations, his landlord or the general publics fault. Guys a loser.
May Allah bless you and give you sustenance.
Any veteran should never and ever be homeless
Look at his arms hahahaa boy still gettin high
I’m from maine. Maine loves to screw men out of everything so again not true people. Laws are different in different states.
Well let me tell you just because your family wants nothing to do with you don’t mean it’s because he’s bad, a veteran I know his mother and father divorced his father who served she started new relationship and didn’t want to deal with sons struggle of parent separation and sent him to the state so she could focus on her relationship. To this day, they don’t care about him or his child. They are more worried about their life and spouses. It may not make sense but best believe there a lot of people who do things that make no sense to us. That’s why we can’t judge .
There is an old saying from where I come from “Don’t believe whatever druggy says” . 🙄
You're Awesome!
This guy needs to grow up. First dispense of the f word. You need to live in the real world. Your life depends on it. Got to change man become god filled. Church may help get you into work and life to feel better about self. Talk about your future not all the street people and their situations. Get away and begin a new life. Maybe you could help others lead a stable life when you get it together. God bless!!
I really resent the sanctuary crap they are feeding us. I do not wish to donate my paycheck to the border illegals!
Good luck dude. Mass is a screwed up mess. State is allowing this to happen. They allow loitering. Arrest take freaks away! I hate mass. Now we have crazy border illegals!!
He making all this money but can't fix his teeth or clean his face
Bro get a job u got all that time to mozzy around & not do shit all day....the word for u today is JOB ....
Especially when he's not chasing dope or booze! 🙄 I've been homeless; and, it's so easy to get housing when you don't use. Any job would help his situation. I get that he can make more money doing shady things; but, I don't get the sense of entitlement ~ like folks are owed something when the rest of us WORK for it. 🤦♀️
You can't tell me this dude ain't still on something
Tsk Tsk
So your saying your clean now ????
Running out is.not kicking
Mate, if you "kick" H 20 times in 20 years... you didn't kick heroin.

He seemes to be quite bright and unfortunate on account of drug use.
