Basically 2 possibilities: 1) Morphine molecule actually has something to do with making Methadone; like a function from the Morphine Molecule placed in the Methadone Molecule?? (what is it)?? 2) if "entirely" synthetic, meaning Morphine has nothing to do with making it, what function/chemical/ingredient gives Methadone its analgesic character,?? besides the structure itself fitting receptor, whats the analgesic makeup?? Like is it...Heptane ? Dimethylamine ? Butanone ketone ? An ethyl ether? Ethyl bromide,? Any alcohol like propanol or butanol?? PS: these are things i see a part of the synthesis but most are solvents only so at least one of them is its contributor to euphoria/pain relief.
