Excel go hard, not much power but decent power to weight ratio and the tires won't spin fast enough to make it slow on dirt like an au. Fwd is better for dirt anyway, better correction and more accurate steering

Prices sure have gone up and vary wildly based on where you live. 2019 entry was 1200, transport was a 3/4 of a tank each way so like $150 total, accommodation was $250 a night in a motel in Bathurst for a family of 4, car prep I had new front bearings rotors pads fluids and bolt check and a set of rubber one meeting old. Can't remember what we spent on food but we had a blast.
