Bin damals auf deine Person gestoßen dank dem wunderbaren Buch "Musik produzieren mit Reason 4" ! Ich hab noch ein Bastl Instruments Modul dass direkt eine 808 CB neben diversen Rausch-Quellen zur Verfügung stellt. Wenn man mal überlegt,dass eine 606 HH mit 16 fachen Square-OSC´konzipiert wurde,dann sind so mache rudimentäre Percussion Sound in der Eurorack-Welt fast schon "niedlich". Ich hoffe es gibt noch eine Fortsetzung mit dem Radial-Verlag & Dir;) Deine Bücher vermitteln Wir immer dass Gefühl,dass man nicht lernt sondern alles aufsaugt & verinnerlicht. schön wären so Thematiken ala erweitertes Sounddesign/Hybrid Modular-19er-DAW Symbiose oder einfach nur abstract Sounds for abstract Peoples o.ä. ;DDD Grüße

danke, ich glaube das geht nicht so ohne weiteres. Voice Panning ist allerdings Teil des Atrophy Settings, theoretisch könntest Du einen Sound ganz nach links und einen ganz nach rechts pannen...

Ein tolles Tutorial für einen zurecht gehypten Synthesizer mit seinem einzigartigen Sound. Vor allem endlich eines auf Deutsch! Es ist schon befremdlich, dass das scheinbar die einzige UB-Xa Vorstellung in deutscher Sprache ist. Keine Ahnung warum mindestens zwei andere Deutsche sowas lieber in schlechtem Englisch gemacht haben. Der UB-Xa ist meiner Meinung nach aktuell der Synthesizer für 80s- und Synthwave-Produktionen. Also noch mal ein großen Lob für das gute Video.👍

Danke für das Video 👍 Ich hätte da ne Frage. Kann man am Behringer UB-Xa auch die Presets auf Midi Program/Instrument Kanäle legen, um easy schnell in einem Liveset mit nem Midi Controller zwischen den Presets zu wechseln? :)
hmm, also einerseits gibt es diese Buttons unten rechts, um schnell an 16 Presets rankommen zu können. Das nutzen Keyboarder Live, darüber habe ich schon gelesen. Andererseits gibt es Programm und Bank nrn und Programm Change Befehle. Mit dem Upper/ Lower Bereich gibt es zwei Presets, die gleichzeitg aktiv sein und die mit verschiedenen Kanälen angesprochen werden können.

@@marcusunivers Split und Doubles haben je 35 separate Speicherplätze, aber das war schon vor dem Update so

as far as I understand, they can be synced, but Im not sure about the start/stop command - it can be sent via footswitch though

I think they can each be master only - so no midi sync between two units - they can’t both be master

Moin Heiner, can you show recording mpe midi from pb12 to ableton and than play it back to pb12?
i just had it for a few days, so I cant do this. But the video explains whats possible and what not. It doesnt show the MPE setup though, which is different to do in different "Midi Recorders" aka DAWs

wohl wahr, aber ich bin oft mit einem Macbook Air unterwegs. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Ding wenig Anschlüsse hat...und ich manchmal damit auch nur in Omas Lesesessel sitzen will...
@@basswerkrec dann vielleicht die Skalierung in Reason selbst etwas reduzieren für mehr Platz und Bildinformationen. So wirkt es nicht sehr einladend.
Perfekt für mich, da ich zuletzt Version 4 benutzt hatte. Sieht aber alles noch recht vertraut aus :)

Nice video. Can you tell me if the gain for outputs 3 and 4 can be adjusted? I see that in control centre there are some knobs under input 2 and 4 - are these gain knobs by any chance? I as cause im wondering if these 3 and 4 inputs can be used for recording electric guitar or bass - a passive instruments. And Q nr2: is there option for no latency direct monitoring?
Since 3-4 inputs are line level inputs there's gain, only volume fader. Since the 1-2 inputs are mic and line port. They included the gain knob. I doubt u might need a gain on line level inputs, coz it's tend to distort the mix

Wie wähle ich MIDI Noten aus? Ich checks nicht. "Klicken Sie mit der Maus auf einen leeren Bereich und ziehen dann ein "Gummiband" (gestrichelte Linien) auf, das die gewünschten Noten umschließt. " Das funktioniert bei mir nicht. Ich zeichne immer nur neue Noten ein.

Great demo. Can you explain what you mean about the splitter. I have the keystep 37 and somewhere amongst my cables is that same spitter. Thank you
when the device was powered via USB with a normal cable, the sound had some typical brightly humming noise, clearly audible at least if your speakers are not at very low levels. Powering it with that splitter cable however, while making the data connection with the other port of the splitter cable, magically removed this. If this happens or not for sure depends on your workspace - with mine at home, which is where this was filmed, having a few (but not too many) devices connected to the same power strip. Also, it may not make a difference with the keystep itself, since the keystep doesnt make sound. It may however make a difference to another device that makes sound to which the keystep is connected, like the external headphone out from your computer, if you use this little thing to connect your keystep with separate power and data cables like explained above.

Ich antworte von meinem anderen Account - du musst eine Taste dabei festhalten, auf dem Mac zb cmd , um eine weitere Spur scharf zu schalten…

As a new subscriber, thanks for this! I thought the recording sounded just fine accounting for the change in level. Did you try the Match EQ with both the normalized and unnormalized versions? I'm diving fully into my SmplTrek after the latest 1.4.x update and I've been largely impressed by the sound quality on all levels. Cheers!
