Launched my SIB inflatable boat (Mercury Quicksilver 320 Airdeck with Tohatsu 6hp 4-stroke outboard) from Polly Steps in Teignmouth and motored out to a secluded beach at Dawlish. Drone and GoPro footage - didn't realise until editing that I had a seal watching me! The sea state changed from relatively calm to pretty darn choppy for the return.

Wow!!! This is just awesome! And I love the boat that was speeding,the cliffs with green pasture on top. The sail ship and yachts and that big cruise line ship. Its beautiful there for sure! I loved the music score it had a bit of a mystery to it,hint of the tiny bells was pretty,maybe a secret agent was on that speed boat!!! Very good video,thoroughly enjoyed this! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks as always Lin! I was flat out chasing the boat across the bay at around 28mph and was closing, but the distance from me was getting too big. Will never know if it was 007 aboard 😏

Hi, what speeds do you get with your setup ??
Sorry for late reply. I've not measured speed yet although it is fairly rapid. I have to get as far forward as possible in the boat to get it onto the plane whilst still holding the tiller/throttle. At full throttle with just me, its a bit twitchy on the steering.

I just ordered a QS320 Air deck - looks great here! If I took four people out would there be enough room to sit on the tubes? At displacement speeds of course!
Sorry for not replying earlier. Did you get the QS320? I'd say there is deffo enough space for 4 adults and if balanced out, should be ok for stability.
@@LeggieVR4 no I actually ended up buying a 360 Zodiac Alu Rib… it had the low weight I needed (50kg) that your boat has and got it for a good price. I’m sure either would have been great - thanks for the reply!

Had a bit of a scare with this one as I'd flown out between a gap in the tree canopy and panicked when I hit low battery warning and couldn't "find" myself.

where is part 2 ? where is the build video of each of the lights ? They look good but was hoping for videos on how you built them and set them up. thanks
Sorry for late response. Part 2 never came about because I switched to controlling with Raspberry Pi, Falcon Player and xLights to sequence. The flake is made using scrap foam board in 6 overlaid sections. See ruclips.net/video/kHvcf89McvU/видео.html for the code. The trees are made from chicken wire. I mounted the LEDs on washing line using small zip ties at regular spacing - arduous task! The arches are made with "Correx" board cut into a semi-circle, drilled with 12mm holes and mounted on 20mm HDPE pipe. I used rigid conduit pipe and joints to hold together.
