We take on trail 51 at windrock (panther rock) with Mr. Karnage. although it was not the first time that we have done this trail every time we go to Windrock it’s different and always a good time. Great time and made a lot of new friends that hopefully we will see on other trails in the future

The corrosion issue makes the entire platform horrible to own. Literally rusting away after 6 years on the road.
I own a jl 2023 and love it. I see a lot of jeeps on the road and don't see a lot of rust or corrosion. I'll never go back to a car or drive anything else.❤
yes we love our jeep as well, the corrosion issues have been a black spot for sure but don’t think it will sway people that actually love their jeeps or use and abuse them like we do. we’re in michigan and rust and corrosion are just a part of life
Wonder if they are displaying all the aluminum corrosion that occurs on all these new Jeeps it’s a BIG problem and I say that as a Jeep owner very disappointed.
The piece under the hood you removed, is in case you have a engine fire. It will burn the small plastic tabs, and drop the blanket onto the motor, to help smoother the fire. Jeep looks great! Love the bumper.
@@jimmycecil1287 next step is getting ready to swap an LS in the engine bay and solid axle swapping the front and rear . seen a lot of the first gen liberties getting that treatment but not the second gen want it to be a little bit different

Yeah I think it's sweet we found a video of Jeep on RUclips I have been looking for videos I found two on tiktok haven't found any on the strip I'm sure somebody got some more videos with our Jeep in it we will be back next year for sure
Finally got a video with their Jeep in it it's right across from the cop cars the YJ
that is one of our favorite things to look for when we see a video of a event we’re at is finding one of the jeeps in the background or a topic of conversation

Planning to head out to Holly Oaks soon as a first timer. Going to take it easy for sure. Some of this trail looks crazy from a beginner point of view
@@gkott78 they a lot of options to test your limits but still be a good park for a beginner we just wish they had more rock obstacles
Thank you for the tour.The 'ride along' was pretty kewl. The 1st person view does help as it shows what you can and can't see coming. Like the mud pit tries ; bad choices just make your day more challenging ;) I've been planning on taking my 'motorized bike' down there, as I have it geared for trails and thought it'd be fun to explore. Now I know it's more than I can do so you saved me a 15-20 mile trip just getting there. Happy Trails from a new Sub.

Going there in a few weeks unless plans change. Trying to get the most out of my ORV stickers for the year considering I'm a non MI resident. Wheeled at Silver Lakes Sand Dunes earlier in the year. Good video though. I'll probably add one to my channel after I go.

@@swampy21301 unfortunately i don't do FB. Just RUclips and IG only. But I'll probably be alone as typical lately (seems like nobody is wheeling lately from my local scene). I also generally ask around online prior to gauge interest. Not holding my breath though, so I may just hit you up on here and see if you're down. I'll most likely have my drone with me as well for decent footage. Anticipated date I'm going is October 13th.

@@jason20341 you just have to find what works for you but i believe we used a 6 inch set of channel locks or a pair of needle noses sorry i don’t have numbers for you

Ouch! 😣. That first drop off, at the beginning of the video. Yup, that hurt to watch. 😬. I have a 1998 and a half Dodge Ram 2500 with the old Cummins 24 Valve, so ya, I know all about that. I bought it so I wouldn't have to worry about breaking, stuff off road, but I have a bad back, so I have to be super careful, on that kind of stuff. Lame huh. 🥴
Tip. 🙂 There are seat 💺 belt extensions, you can get from the dealership, (for free) that will prevent your seat belt alarm from sounding, and they help prevent, the shoulder strap, from rubbing on your neck. 👍

@@nickhex81 currently it has a 2” spacer lift with kmc grenade beadlocks and 33” falken’s but a solid axle swap and coil over setup is coming over the winter and it will probably be on 35’s or 37’s after that
If you guys ever make it up to NE Ohio we have Southington Offroad. That's my home park. I also am part of the recovery team at Bantam heritage Jeep festival in Butler PA
@@Dirtydeviantjbyrd funny you mention that you’re from ohio because we are actually from Michigan . We were at this event just to be able to go out on the trails with our son who is serving in the military and this park was close to his duty station

@@Dirtydeviantjbyrd thats definitely a harder trail. He is capable of the Blues with any big issues. Only Recon had him scraping a few times.
The KK is more capable then there given credit for. My kid has a Renegade edition that takes on whatever he has thrown at it
@@gamersgrubs2952 he was able to get up a couple of climbs the others in the group had trouble with but i’m betting the wheel base had a lot to do with that. Or the amount of the skinny pedal my son was using to get to the top

They only require your registration papers, just like the KGB....but i smiled and paid 40.00.annual "TAX" For what had been free for the past EVER..I also hope big-brother./they. spend new found revenue appropiately....✌🏻😇... .........hope. the KGB comment does,nt offend.🙈🙉🙊
You have to pay to play sometimes and to your point about if the money we are paying is is being used correctly and to maintain the trail system we are using then we have no issues paying the small fee every year. thanks for the support. windrock never disappoints with rough trails that’s for sure. we are currently using midland handhelds but plan on adding the permanent bases in the future and staying with midland. hope this answers wquestions hope to see you on the trail sometime
