The Traxxas S1 compound tires are pretty good for on road. That’s what’s being run in this video.

It’s a separate track from the mini z track. This is for 1/10 and 1/12 carpet on road racing.

@@somedudewithakeyboard it’s only set up for limited practice days and race days. Sadly it’s not permanent like the mini z track, but it is a ton of fun 🎉

It’s a special type of picture glue that’s flexible. The one I used is XXXmain. Found it on Amazon.

0:32 Tamiya rally blocks. Mounted them on the stock Fazer kit wheels.

Haven’t driven either s4 or s5. And comparing it to either of my Yokomo chassis seems unfair (sd1.0lts and yd2e-s+etc…).

I geared up pinion a couple teeth for more speed. Performance is much much better than the stock Traxxas VXL system. So much smoother and no more overheating. 🎉

@@sunsetbashers thanks so much man i appreciate that, my slash needs a new heart transplant at the moment 🤣cause that old vxl system can’t handle any sorta power anymore I always have motor/ transmission problems with it so yeah it’s about time for an upgrade. Thanks a million brotha🙌

How is the speed difference from the old vxl on 3s

@@matthewschroeter9045all about the gearing. HW system can take higher gearing without going thermal, while the VXL will thermal on stock gearing if you push it too hard. HW g2 also super smooth.

@@sunsetbashers ive got the Big rock v3 and a rustler 4x4 vxl … was looking into a nice street basher and came across your video haha im on the fence between getting a fazer or a traxxas 4 tec. I think an infraction or a felony might be a bit much ive only ran 3s 😅

@@giantchamps4150 We are big fans of the Kyosho Fazer. The kit version is a great value, especially if you like setting up your own electronics. But the RTRs are awesome too, just gotta be careful cause those bodies are so nice looking.

yes. but it is a bad radio. the whole electronics package is not very good. but that's the case with most RTR RCs.
