Will and Alex are great guys and loving their miniatures from War on Terra. Talking (for hours😅)about the new game, rules, lore and sculpts was my original reason for attending my very first Expo! I also spent a few more hours chatting with Cerberus Studios! Lots of fun to come in the future from both those teams. Sadly I didn't get to see much else of the expo but I'll be back next year

I got the big ol box of Forge Fathers about a week before the Leagues Of Votann were announced. That was my first experience with Mantic games, and I'm glad I found them and got what would be easily $3-500 worth of proxies for Votann for less than $150. Love seeing their minis getting attention. Might have to pick up some orks next..

Also, maybe worth noting on the earlier, shorter version that you have this one to view instead.

Thanks, I had been wondering what 'slap chop' was and now I know. It's very much what I'm doing already, except for the dry brushing. I use contrast paints extensively, except for metallics & bases. I like the project that yo are doing. Ambush looks like a good starting point so I'll follow your progress with interest. I have a regiment of Halfling Braves and a troop of Rifles painted so far.

Total agree with Steve when it comes to Mantic content on RUclips. I’ve been running my channel for almost 2 years now with the majority of my videos on Mantic stuff and I still have less the 500 subscribers and my videos are lucky to any commits or likes 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. I’d love to get some new stuff from Mantic to review on the channel but why would they send anything when my views are so poor 🤷‍♂️😉🙂. Luck I run the channel for fun 😉😂😂😂

I feel your pain when it comes to trying to engage the kids! My son is 9 (so slightly young for wargaming maybe?) I've tried to entice him to roll dice multiple times, in multiple games, but he always responds with "can I go on Minecraft now dad?" I'm a stubborn goat though and I will keep perservering!

I 100% agree with you mate, the new ones will look perfect as unit leaders for those who have or want to pick up the old models if they are going cheap. I have a love for the mantic trolls and ogres who have skipped leg day too
