3.3 Phase changes and energy
Просмотров 117Год назад
Identify the different phase changes including sublimation and deposition (CO2 and I2) Describe the energy changes as endothermic or exothermic and changes in entropy Describe what is happening in terms of attractive forces during phase changes.
3.4 Heating and Cooling Curves
Просмотров 260Год назад
Interpret heating and cooling curves and identify what changes are occuring in atomic arrangement as well as kinetic and potential energy at the various locations on the curves. Use heating/cooling curves to identify the freezing/melting and boiling points. Explain why it generally takes more energy to boil a substance than to melt it.
3.5 Calorimetry of Phase Changes

i saw these tubes in fisheries laboratory
So cool! Do you know what they were using them for?
fucking addictive, road to 200 million
thank you for this
Cool
Thanks for that! Deftly explained, rapid fire examples rule.
Glad it was helpful!
wonderful thanks for recording it!❤
Thanks for watching!
Ni guh
the smothering of the flame was cool!! :D
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
best chemistry experiment. i did it in year 7. the rest were all shit
Eagle poop on my windshield be like
Where?
Outside of Newburgh
What part of NY?
Outside of Newburgh
Shampoo 🧴
Thank You
Good for study
I'm here for DnD, I will repeatedly come back. Great video!
What is left?
Salt water. Nothing fancy, I just enjoyed watching it
Maybe some air bubbles
I seem to be the only one here who isn’t for science class, I’m doing it on my own instead.
This happens on our food as well when dipped into sauce
❤🎉❤❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Cool ! =D
All the oxygen stolen from the air
if you guys need to know a little bit of how lions behave, just go inside the cage. 🦁
i'm starting college and trying to relearn everything i forgot of hs chemistry and this helped so much
The most stolen item in my 11th grade chemistry class.🤣
I love this onion cell footage. Any chance you could send me a link to download it? I’d like to use it in a music video.
very useful🔥
Thank you! I'm glad you think so!
._.
amazing! that's why salt-water mixture is a homogenous! it completely dissolved!
Yea let’s put a tiger and a lion in a cage next to each other
Sinco de mayo coriander
of course its white but when testing larger amounts i noticed a green flame. maybe was just my eye wear, i used a welding mask.
why are thye being kept in such small cages. This is sick
This is just the bit where they are given the food. There are bigger enclosures it's attached to for them
tysm appreciate this
great video man ,i appreciate you and your videos even if they dont get much views you still help so many students .salute to you man
I appreciate that! I'm glad you found them helpful!
This would be a great album cover
Why is energy quantised though? I got it is quantised, but why?
Why does E=mc^2 and not ^3? I have no idea haha. I think that might be one of the unanswerable questions, but I could be wrong.
@@donochem1816 Actually, this question was asked to me by my professor and I’ve searched whole internet to find the answer but can’t find it. I don’t know if there’s an answer but I think it is related to somewhat derivation of plank’s constant as it is the base of quantisation. It’d be really great if you could help because I’m really not smart
@@Neo34014 I feel like that comes back to the original question though. Energy is quantized because Plancks constant is, but why is that? One fun hypothesis that I don't actually subscribe to but think is fun, is that because we live in a computer simulation where everything is 1 or 0, so everything is quantized. Outlandish, but fun to think about. That being said, I don't know a whole lot about how Plancks constant was determined.
@@donochem1816 thanks that’s helpful really, I don’t know how planck’s constant is derived theoretically, but as much as I know, it’s derived somewhat from E=mc^2. And yeah the simulation theory is interesting because there’s no way we can say anything against or in favour of it. I’ll consider that before saying. Also the original question I was asked, was, “why are photons quantised” but I pretty much think it’s same question as energy. But would like your thoughts on it if it is different
Amazing!
very informative but in the slide with 6 domains: 3 bonding and 3 nonbonding and the ones after, the AXE notation has a typo, otherwise this has been extremely useful thank you very much
Very nice and incredible mountain lions
your whole channel is really going to help me for the chem final, thank you
I'm so happy to hear!
I've watched more than 20 of your videos, you explain things concisely and in a manner that is very easy to understand. thank you for saving me
I'm so happy you found this helpful!!
So when the temperature gets higher the balloon gets bigger too
Ya it's volume
HIIIII NIGGAS
GREAT WORK
My teacher did this back in highschool and told us not to look directly at the flame, I looked anyway and I remember having the after image of the fire stuck in my vision for hours 😂😂😂
Here for Chem class! I like chemistry tbh
So cool
That's one big spider😮
In Az they are all black. Or tan with black wings.
